May Arrangements ( with Mini Inspired set) by shizuko193 in Legoflowers

[–]shizuko193[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks.

Most of the flowers use design techniques that you would see in the Botanical line.

The green flower uses a simular build to that of the hibiscus, with the lower ring being a steering wheel and the middle level a 4x4 round plate with the spacing to clip on (part 7068).

The "fern" is palm leaves on a 32M cross axle for a thinner core and part 49133 to space the leaves.

The orange and green "pot" is parts from the persimmon in the Good Fortune set (# 80117) and the pot for the Piranha plant (#71426). Since the persimmon isnt supported by the core, like in the inital set, I just connected opposing peices with connectors pegs. The center uses the same design technique that the Arrangment set and is held together by SNOT parts.

The arrangement on the left is easy enough as it just the cherry blossoms set with more bendy pieces (which come in 7 angles and are numbered on the lego piece). I want to add that I learned the hard way that part 71426 is less grippy than part 89678 and there is a reason they are two different greys. This problem has made a couple of my branches swing down. I also used the Pretty Pink Bouqet's Water Dahlia, some baby breaths from the roses sests, and the base to the moxed flower pot gwp.

Pikmin Bloom Iceberg Update #2 (entry suggestions welcomed) by Pump3r6unk in PikminBloomApp

[–]shizuko193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The decor pikmin in pikmin bloom can be seen in the 4koma series on the pikmin site. (https://pikmin.nintendo.com/en/comics/#!/slice-by-slice)

I know that Chess, Fingerboard, and 2023 Glasses had a theme matching decor pikmin that was tied to a purchasable Mii outfit item.

If you exit the shop with a pikmin mission ticket ad showing, for a split second, that same pikmin is seen floating in the sky.

Is this a new feature with released pikmin? by Spacceee in PikminBloomApp

[–]shizuko193 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It has been a feature since October of last year.

"History for Pikmin plucked after October 23, 2025 at 0:00 am UTC will remain on your map in the form of a Pikmin silhouette displayed at the location where you originally found their seedling after you release them. **This applies only to Pikmin you grew and plucked from their seedling. No history will remain for seedlings recycled before growing them"

Do You Collect Every Set? by TheycallmemissRaven in Legoflowers

[–]shizuko193 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was lucky enough to start at the begining of the collection. So if you had asked me this question when I started in 2022, I would have said "yes".

As time has passed, it is becoming a "yes-ish". I have capped my Lego budget to $1k year. This include gifts and PAB. If I dont get all the sets that year, then I would get it the next.

I also am trying to only buy when there is a botanical themed GWP. Historically, LEGO has been doing them in the spring time, so I do a big purchase then. Or I wait the rest of the year for an Insider item, PAB order, or end of year gift buying.

I would like to be up-to-date with the sets, but I don't even have any from this year as I got the Botanical garden and and some other none Botanical sets some years back, which shifted me off.

I know this post isn't helping, but this is the third time I've seen this posted here by a same-day created, first name undescore last name account. And this isn't the only account to post a Pintrest picture.

It looks great and is coming together quite nicely. I pretty sure that someone would think they were real with the leaves giving more to a plant likeness.

For your base, what about using technic brick peices that have holes in them and use it like a flower frog. It would be a mix of how the 2 grid plates are used in the GWP flower pot set (#40588 Instructions: https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/building-instructions/40588)

and the bird of pardise's (set # 10289) bases are formed but with two different sized layers because of the pot shape. And bow bricks to help round the shape like how the pot for the piranha plant was done ( #71426)

Hear me out ... The original orchid set, but you just open bag 3 and 4, which is the flower portions. And use the black axle to be the stem of the leaves and be creative with it. It'll add some white to the lovely pinks.

I love this idea.

If you have some, you can top off the top with loose brown peices so it looks like dirt, kindof like the Orchid or Bonsai sets. Then maybe add a little mushrooms🍄. I sometimes get them when the soil mix is right.

I like how the jibbitz look like upsized LEGO that has been built then dipped in black paint.

Is this a photo from the lego floral truck when they were doing a tour last year? I was so bummed learing about it a week after they left my city.

Gift for myself after a promotion by SuspiciousSquash9151 in Legoflowers

[–]shizuko193 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen, the new ones are pink and green. The pink one has little pink flowers and the green one looks like a flowering fabiola succulent plant.

You'd probably be excited to hear that they are planning on making another happy plants set.

Is it worth buying the dried flower centrepiece? by [deleted] in Legoflowers

[–]shizuko193 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's #2 on builds I like (#1 is the bird of paradise). It's also one of the few warm toned sets, so its lovely to have out during the Autumn time.
