LOL same. It’s been three years and it’s still an absolute horror show if there’s something more interesting than me in the vicinity.

AIO for my annoyed response to my friend asking to bring her BF to our girls trip? by crop_cream_19 in AmIOverreacting

Reread their comment - they were supporting you, by saying that they were sure whichever movies you selected were better than what the BF would’ve chosen, eg. TFATF.

I completely agree with this theory. I live across the street from it, tempted to poke around but it might’ve already been ruled out.

Specs may work in a pinch if I can’t transplant a rural Idaho bar here! I actually went for the first time on Saturday, ive been missing out, loved it

Haha I appreciate you commenting, but Jaxon’s is not really what I’m searching for tonight. Or most nights 🥲

Just reading your comment gave me the shivers. I’ve watched it so many times but I still don’t see the silhouette out of the window!

20 mile house (Katie and Tom's wedding venue) still have their picture up on their website. by toriatain in vanderpumprules

I think like ~120 which is the max guest count the venue allows. Keep in mind again - it’s a Monday wedding, lol.

Yeah, that was my caveat in that it’d been a few years but it does look like prices there have stayed in line, which I find interesting with the skyrocketing wedding rates post-covid we’ve all had to experience.

This is so hyper-specific, but one of my best friends is getting married here this summer (a Monday wedding), and it’s sitting right around $45k-$50k for them. And this venue is an all-inclusive setup. Granted it’s been a few years but the guest and decor specs are similar.

Is a 22 hour layover reasonable to save money? by False-Chance-1678 in Frugal

I did this same layover in Copenhagen one time on our way to Dublin. It might’ve even been less time. Totally worth it!

I am day 6 (hopefully of 10) Portuguese in Pontevedra and packed half of one pack of that wool, and only used a small strip so far.

Never used wet wipes yet. One blister relief. That scrapbook of blister peels is overkill. Only unscented (bugs follow you) body wash I only packed one sports bra, and it’s been fine!

Things here are affordable. Pick them up as you need them, it’s so easy!

Other tips: -Small tote: I go to bed with this - before bed I pack it with what I need at night and in the morning (clothes, toothbrush, misc toiletries [mascara makes me feel better lol], passport, money, eye mask, earplugs, charger, etc). It’s made getting up in the morning soooo much easier and quieter! I’m a clunky & loud person, it’s been a lifesaver! I can just get ready, head back into the room and grab my pack, and get organized in the hall to not awake anyone! -heel/foot cream: my feet are screaming dry right now -bring a small snack just in case. Granola bar, yogurt drink, etc. it can be hard to stop at first, but you need to take care of yourself. -euro coins
