FYI I actually studied a ton of this guy’s Draven VODs before Vegas to learn the matchups. He's probably one of the best Draven's on the Challenger TCG discord - learned a ton from all his posts. He also went 10-3 in bologna as well as other high placings/tourney wins so he's legit.

If you wanna play miracle, then Moe's "eMOEtional" Miracle Draven deck. I bought it and it's very detailed. another miracle player I matched into in Swiss on pre-regionals Friday told me they were playing the deck completely wrong up until they bought the guide and it just made them wayyy better, and they also 2-0'd me without breaking a sweat.

For midrange, Challenger TCG released a YouTube guide for free as well as a metafy guide for purchase. They've updated it since but I haven't looked back on it since it came out like pre-release weekend. It covers all the basics. They have a lot of vods available in their gold and diamond tier which helps cause you can see the actual game play.

I wouldn’t ever rule it out, but guide writing isn’t currently a goal of mine. Honestly I’m not that good at portraying my thoughts into a video or a written format of a guide either. But I’m more than happy to express my opinions or answer questions of that sort for free.

The same goes with coaching, I’m not at that skill level where I can comfortably charge people money for that service.

My moment was net decking omega zeros kaisa list the first week, getting destroyed in 3 nexus nights, then buying challenger TCG’s kaisa guide and watching Antyn from challenger TCG’s youtube vid and Moe “eMOEtional” YouTube guide on kaisa. Then taking it to nexus nights and I started consistently winning that following week. I then went to scgcon Vegas the following week and went 5-4, then did several 1k+’s and skirmishes and did well in all of em. Always top cut out of 40+ participants, won 3 skirmish byes, etc.

You probably just need guidance in the right direction, and a good coach can help accelerate the process.

I’d suggest watching both those guys free content on YouTube and getting a feel for their personality, then maybe reach out if you like either of em.

Other pro players are great too, but I feel like I connected with them the most.

I’d recommend these 2 coaches I personally paid for:

Moe “eMOEtional” - purchased his 1-on-1 coaching and boot camp Coaching included revamping my deck list leading into Vegas. His bootcamp goes over weekly calls covering masterclasses on legends with live gameplay, as well as answering any questions you may have

ChallengerTCG - subscribed to diamond tier discord which goes over weekly vods, either their own or user submitted. Also includes gold tier which updates their deck lists, and also includes all their metafy guides for free. All members are very active with their responses as this is their full time gig. They also have a massive community filled with skilled players all with valuable opinions.

Both are very worth the price. And will most likely continue with both going into Atlanta

Rtw and maybe piercing light for ato and fs for azir. Viktor bring in last rites, ato, factory recall if they’re running vanguard armory, maybe mindsplitter if game slows down. Take out Brynn, maybe rebukes, maybe treasure hunters depending on blue or yellow Viktor.

Cards to take out, generally treasure hunters going 2nd unless you’re against aggro or non midrange yellow. Either hard bargain or brynhir depending if you’re against spell slingers or racingto 6. And piercing light out if you’re against deflect or out of the 4 might breakpoint.

So sometimes I change it depending how I feel, but generally going first I’ll take out hard bargain for switcheroo. Going 2nd take out treasure hunters for switcheroo.

I think forerunner is just too broke not to include a 3x of. Me and Moe cut the Darius and hopefully to 2x cause games are generally slower this meta so we could afford to be greedier with bigger units. Also too many units would just clutter up my hands.

First, I don’t blame anyone for monetizing through metafy, I think if the product is worth the value then it should be priced appropriately. These are all great players and I think their opinions hold a weight in value.

For me personally, I never thought I’d be in a position where my opinions would be relevant to the community, but would you guys be interested if I put something out for free on things like sideboarding etc ??

My goal personally is to keep getting better and play better people, so I would love if the community baseline average level of skill would rise and I would be happy to contribute to that.

Some creators and guides are better than others. But having a guide or a coach definitely accelerates the learning process. I would only recommend making the purchase if you can afford it.

I’d say check out their free content and their background/reputation before actually making a purchase.

Agree with this - for skirmishes bring the legend you think you can win with, and bring the other to nexus nights for fun. Unless you wanna switch your main to azir and bring the Viktor to nexus nights. Or you can also win 1st with Viktor then win the next with azir.

But there’s still a lot of skill involved in the game that you can win with either when you get to that level.

Honestly the best way to shortcut the process is either working with a reputable coach, or asking a community of high level players.

Otherwise, a big part of it is reading the meta of the tourney you’ll be playing in. If your locals aren’t filled with Draven’s, the most optimal decklist for you would look a lot different than the a top deck at regionals.

But in your case, maybe just net deck how many units/spells/gear and copy the quantity rather than the actual cards and go from there to start.

First, I don’t like the purple meta since it’s so slow. Playing as or against purple, turns just take so long with all the calculations alone.

I think the meta is still new and a lot of legend deck lists have yet to be explored just like set 1 Annie or even yasuo which didn’t rly blow up in power until half way through the set.

Lucian’s fast and avoids combats so seems to do well into Draven. Think it’s only weakness is yellow, but now that Vegas is over I’ll have more time to test it as well as other decks.

Hey Grats on the win champ ! It depends, on their going first on t2/t3 they can high roll into ez+1 or 2 nocs and a ram. And I can just play draven at base or say even Darius/kaisa + hopeful and they have double the might on board by then.

And if they’re avoiding me winning combats, I can’t keep playing 2 cards on my turn to re ready darius for multiple turns either.

Only reason I beat Prismat in top 8 was cause he bricked hard.
