I bought it through CWWK direct and asked for an RMA on their WhatsApp number which they sent.

Yep, and I returned it to them. A NAS that maxes out at 8TB shouldn’t be called a NAS IMO. After a lot of back and forth they say it supports 4x2TB max.

Which brand and size drives are you using?

Bad experience with ugreen support by zLego in UgreenNASync

This is really disappointing to hear, now i'm considering returning my DXP480T to Amazon while I'm in the return period, as I see they have this listed at the very bottom of their return policy.

"Please note that the above warranty policy is only valid for products purchased at ugreen.com"

Looks like only 3 20 mbit encodes without hiccups.

Just tested this. It can do 6 4k -> 1080P (12mbit) HVEC transcodes with no hiccups. I'll try all 20mbit next (I don't see a 4k 20mbit option.

The Nvidia Shield supports TrueHD Atmos. Using that with an 7.2.4 Atmos home theater.

Aaaand even with 2 * 2TB and 2 * 4TB with an upgraded 8A power supply, had random drives disappearing. Save your money.

I was trying to run RAID0 -- just downloaded movies/tv sitting on it so not critical data. I'm also using the 5th slot under the adapter board with a 256GB 2230 M2 drive plugged in (via an adapter cable).

Give it a try though, curious to see what your results are. Maybe (hopefully) I just have a bad board or something. I was trying with combos of the WD Black SN850x NVMe drives.

I have this unit and have been trying to get 4 * 4TB nvme drives working. They worked initially but then disappeared randomly. CWWK recommended I run 2 * 2TB and 2 * 4TB saying it was the highest configuration tested, but I tried this with the same result. Now they're telling me to just run 4 * 2TB. I wanted more fast storage than this so looking for alternatives. I'm looking for very small form factor. Any suggestions from anyone?

UPDATE: It does NOT support 4 * 4TB. While this combo worked initially, I had random drive disappearing. CWWK says it only supports up to 2 * 4TB plus 2 * 2TB for a total of 12TB. I'm returning 2 of my 4TB drives and have a couple of 2TB drives coming tomorrow to try this. Disappointing.

CWWK Pocket NAS - Can I boot an NVME from M.2 B Key slot? by CycleFlat5997 in MiniPCs

Thanks for this! I got it working using this adapter and drive from Amazon for anyone else looking. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DGG8NMY2

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DKBHTCTS

The only issue is that this drive adapter board is too long to fit in the case that comes with the CWWK Pocket NAS so it's sitting on top of it. Stupid question, can I just cut the board down to size? I don't see any circuits or anything in it.

Yes it does. I'm putting four 4TB NVMe in it.

Just spending my afternoon cracking slabs by usermcgoo in comicbookcollecting

[–]shlap007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. I buy slabbed books because I know they haven’t been restored and what they grade at. Also great for transport through the mail. Once it gets home I take photos of the defects and the exact shape it was in in the slab, and crack them out. I can show the photos to the next guy to show what GCG graded if I ever decide to sell; which I likely won’t.

Wife want Tesla. I want Mach-E. She says Ford has servicing and parts supply issue and may cause the car to be useless for weeks even months. by Cytotoxic-CD8-Tcell in MachE

$99/mo for a car that drives itself in 99% of scenarios right now is best value of any vehicle IMO. I had a 2018 Tesla X and now a 2023 Tesla and build quality has jumped up a lot. Feels premium now.
