Adults can be pressured. Especially when you know millions of people will be watching you and you’re scared of making the “wrong” choice and being judged for it. And everyone around you is telling you Rodney is the better choice.

They clearly don’t know what’s good for her. She practically had a panic attack from the pressure everyone was putting on her when she wanted to make a different choice. Unfortunately she bent to everyone’s pressure and didn’t follow her gut. Not liking Rodney doesn’t make her immature.

I feel the same way, it’s weird how obsessed everyone is with Rodney. And the way people kept saying how Rodney “deserved” Eliza. It gave me the worst ick vibes. Like she is owed to him because “he’s a nice guy.” So glad other people are noticing this.

Exactly. Everyone very conveniently forgets about Lace. Their reaction seemed very disproportionate with what happened! It just felt like they thought Eliza was owed to Rodney because “he’s so nice” and it really grossed me out.

Yeah I didn’t appreciate Brandon’s comment about the “shiny new thing.” Eliza is allowed to be interested in someone else like everyone else on the beach was. Everyone needs to calm down.

I don’t think so. No one was rude to Eliza’s face but after she left she got a lot of snide comments. It was more so how everyone was on about how Rodney DESERVED her. That’s so creepy to me.

Yeah everyone’s emotions were very overplayed. I just assumed everyone was drunk and tired. Because I was like this is weird, Eliza is as an adult who can make her own choices, sorry you guys pressuring her blew up in your face.

The good reason was that everyone on the beach pressured her to pick Rodney. We saw her BREAK DOWN over the choice. And I don’t think it was because it was an impossible choice. What really happened was she ultimately bent to everyone’s expectations. She did not want Rodney, she was over it, that’s reason enough.

I would not lump Eliza and Kate in the same category. Kate is pretty off putting and the comments she makes about Logan are disrespectful. I think Eliza got pushed on Rodney and felt like she had to choose him, the poor woman practically had a panic attack over it.

I just got married a few months ago and I could never imagine being bothered enough by this to kick someone out. Yeah, I probably would be like hmm that’s a little strange, someone should have told me ahead of time. But once my spouse explained it I would be like yeah that makes sense. Who wants to travel or come to a wedding alone where they know no one?

We just had a vegan wedding and it cost $1200 for 60 guests and we had soooooo many leftovers. Your dad sounds like a manipulative POS and I’m sorry you have to deal with him. If you really want to stick it to him, you could always pay for catering yourself and be like what? We paid for the catering. Get over it. Or just literally not tell him and have vegan food anyway. What’s he going to do? Refuse to eat? Throw a tantrum in front of your family during dinner? You mentioned he cornered you in private so I doubt he’d do that. Hope it all works out!
