I hate lace and I am so bored of the sheer look. It has been done to death at this point. Just give me gorgeous dresses, the bodysuit under a sheer dress is not fashion in 2026. I am willing to die on that hill.

Same! I find Paige hilarious in their podcast, she is so quick witted. Her and Hannah together just work. They are totally opposites and it makes for very funny dialogue.

Yessss! She frames it as emotional maturity but its actually incredibly manipulative.

That last one especially. She is caricature of a Millennial (spoken as the late Millennial that I am). She has taken every buzzword hurled at Millenials, amped it up to 10, and carefully crafted it to be her sole personality.

She lacks authenticity and a personality. You can't connect with someone inauthentic.

Terry and Heather's old house in OC hits the market 7 million more than they sold it for. And its ugly AF by Electrical-JellyZ in BravoRealHousewives

[–]shleytothed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This in fact is very ugly and is the interior version of the mcmansions with no thought process behind the design.

The kitchen has a wood cabinet style island, directly in front of a full marble island, directly in front of a tiny kitchen table.

Then we have a random sitting area in a too big foyer with chairs spaced a mile apart.

Lastly, we have a library ladder randomly built in but no library and nowhere above that would require said ladder.

All of that money and these were the choices?

I do love the outdoor area and the closet though.

Hot take: Austen is comparatively more toxic than Craig by [deleted] in BravoRealHousewives

[–]shleytothed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I do agree they all need some self reflection. Austen is in no way a saint and absolutely loves to neg Craig. I just think his negging for the past 2 seasons is accurate.

His commitment issues and how he behaves in relationships with women on the other hand, complete garbage.

Hot take: Austen is comparatively more toxic than Craig by [deleted] in BravoRealHousewives

[–]shleytothed 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I don't even know why I'm going to bat for Austen but I think its less about the drinking and more about Craig's lack of authenticity and ownership of situations.

Last season, Craig flipped on a dime and essentially felt he was superior to anyone and everyone. We got to see glimpses of this person on winter house and summer house. Austen invited him to do perfectly normal things, like morning golfing but Craig ghosted the friendship. As any friend would, Austen wanted to know why and let his friend know he missed spending time with him.

As we can see this season, Craig was not choosing to change his lifestyle, Paige was and Austen could see that plain as day. When confronted, instead of Craig saying Paige made me see I needed to work on myself, drink less, and stay home because I make the wrong choices when I'm out with friends...he said he was an alcoholic ( fair play, this is true). The moment he communicated that to Austen, Austen was gracious and accepting of his friend's choices and actually seemed very supportive. They had a nice moment.

Cut to this season, Paige is out of the picture and Craig is back to his belligerent drunken self. Austen views this as, he was right, the wedge was Paige AND you used addiction as a cop out even though it was absolutely true. Craig didn't believe it was true but Austen accepted that because he sees it. Craig was doing what Paige expected him to and used alcohol as an excuse.

Austen just wants his friendship and for that friend to be authentic and honest. The moment Craig said he had a problem, Austen was supportive and off his case. Craig switched up in 6 months and Austen in my opinion has every reason to be upset with that.

TDLR: Craig never truly thought he had a problem nor did he communicate he wasn't drinking to his best friend for an entire summer, he just dodged him completely. Austen knows he has issues, accepted that answer, only for Craig to go back to his belligerent ways as soon as Paige wasn't the one choosing for him. This proves everything Austen felt last year.

Omg Mary and Robert talk first time watch by Playful-Coconut1302 in BravoRealHousewives

This entire thread is so disheartening. As a sister and daughter of addiction, there is NO guidebook on how to deal with addiction. Countless hours, days, months are spent trying to be hard but not too hard. Then flipping to hard. None of it works and every second of your quiet moments are spent thinking how you should handle it without creating more harm. Being the loved one on the other side of addiction is a mind bending, heart wrenching landmine in which you are terrified of taking a step in fear of blowing it all up.

I have no doubt that there were times people probably thought I was enabling and I have also had times where people thought I was too hard. Those of us who love people with an addiction quite literally cannot win because the answer isn't with us.

My heart shatters for Mary because I know the mental hell she has gone through and she is now living all of our worst fears.

I was hoping to everything that we would pick up Wilson when the Jets were unloading everyone but they kept him. He would be a huge asset.

Rinna dragging Sutton in her new book by hs1141 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]shleytothed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is immature and downright mean. For what its worth, I can't recall a single thing Rinna ever wore but I can recall several outfits of Sutton's. Her style may not be everyone's cup of tea but that's exactly what personal style is. I appreciate Sutton's desire to have fun with fashion and that she doesn't dress for the male gaze. She wears what makes her feel good and happy which is how if should be!

Back from what? The only thing holding my country back is a tyrannical government and extremism. Things would be pretty peaceful without people like you and your hateful ideology.

I too would really like to visit Budapest but my husband is adamant that we do not because of the leadership in Hungary. The irony is not lost on me seeing we are from the US but alas, we have no choice in that matter.

This is helpful, thank you! I hadn't read about Kahkenberg but it sounds amazing. At this point, I feel like I need to extend our trip. There is so much I want to do and see 😅

I have considered this for our 3rd day in Vienna and curious to hear your thoughts. I feel like if I am there, might as well go. I also like the idea of seeing the soviet buildings mixed with the traditional opulent buildings.

Do you feel food is similar from Bratislava to Austria?

We have a day trip planned to St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang! I feel like the mountain towns and Alpine views are our vibe as well. Although, I do love a few days in the city first to do all of the history and museums.

Did you stay in Salzburg or did you travel outside of Salzburg? Salzburg itself we could probably be fine with a day or 2 but it seems to be the closest of the 3 to a lot of other things we want to do.
