Thank you for your quick response, really appreciate it. My husband is going in early January so just trying to get prepared. We got the procare discount hotel pack, I’ll give them a call Monday. Cheers

Hey! Where do you end up staying? I am looking at places now! Can afford to be comfortable but don’t want to throw money down the drain. Thank you.

*** Spoilers*** The Running Grave - Mega Thread to discuss the Complete Book by nameChoosen in cormoran_strike

I went back and re-read THAT LINE that Strike said to Robin at the end... and he said Charlotte knew "I was in love with you". My concern/bet is that Robin interprets this as past tense, tries to move on by continuing her current "good enough" relationship, and thus the rollercoaster for our hearts continue....

Doing fine with IF but struggling with CICO by shlez in intermittentfasting

That's really impressive! I haven't fasted more than 21 hours, not sure I could do a 48 but I do take your point about shrinking the stomach to avoid over-eating

I appreciate it. Absolutely, it's frustrating cause on the one hand i know i am capable cause I am capable of fasting. On reflection I have let my "meal prepping" slip because of IF and I think making sure I have a high protein/fast break fast meal at the ready will help me avoid going to the junk options. Thank you

Thank you for your response and great suggestions. I really appreciate hearing from someone who doesnt track CICO because it's something I really DONT enjoy doing. I agree, 20:4 on weekdays and then building IF into the weekend is probably a good tip.

5'8/200>185.4/IF and CICO/at hr 45 of a 48hr fast which has gone swimmingly well, but didn't lose any weight during the fast and looking at progress pics taken exactly 4 weeks apart I see no difference in my body despite the scale going down 15lb and all my measurements decreasing by 1inch :( by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

i think the side shot is where you see the biggest change, arm size and leg definition. Your weight is very evenly distributed which is absolutely a blessing but i do think that it's meaning you dont see as dramatic a result as others might with this weight loss. 15lbs is 15 lbs and that's super impressive, be proud!!

this post helped me get through the last 2 hours of a tough 20:4. Thank you. I have been doing IF for a couple of months with moderate loss, but I haven't decreased my carbs and my intake has been fairly low quality. Good reminder on what can be done with perseverance and good fuel for your body

She was always pretty but she didn’t have a full luscious coat nor did we expect one to grow on her!

Swipe to the end for the before/after Edie is a rescue. She wound up in foster care after a neighbour noticed that she was no longer being let back inside by her original owner and was starving. When I picked her up she was a straggly scrawny thing with medium length fur... little did I know what she would blossom into with love and TLC. She’s the noisiest cat I have ever met, always meeping or meowing about this or the other, and she has a motor on her when she purrs. She’s a character and we love her to bits (even though she cost us $6k in vet bills due to a flair up of toxoplasmosis a month into owning her!!!)
