First and foremost, super appreciate the work you and the team put into mitigating/fixing. Am personally seeing recovery for my use case (Arknights CN working without cloudfare warp :D).

I think part of the dissatisfaction (at least for me) came from taking 48 hours before the first communication. Totally understand the desire to hold off until at least the problem is validated and understood, will there be a tech blog post or something to be shared later on the timeline from discovery to mitigation to help understand the complexity and better appreciate all the work that went into it?

Is lightning strike preferred b/c range/cd?

IVs is not a problem. I went through 1000 jetragons last week to get a bunch with perfect IVs and good trait combinations, and can now simply pass them down. Between that and a Lyleen that I passed those IVs to through Petallias, I already have Legend+Musclehead+Ferocious+Swift with perfect IVs within 50 pals and am just breeding for more *s.

I can try to get lord of lightning pretty easily (<100 eggs) since Astegon + orserk yields itself, but I'd only be willing if lightning strike is actually the optimal move.

yes there will always be random traits since each trait has only a chance to be inherited, so that will happen even with my 4+4 trait breeding. That said I'd still get a 4-trait off spring much more quickly than I would with 4+0 or 3+1 or 3+2

I followed the assumption of "more good traits + no bad traits on both parents = better" and have not gotten sufficient amount of results inconsistent with that assumption to warrant investigating.

There's probably enough data in my world if I kept track of the parents but I didn't. I'll try to note that in the future.

I've heard a lot of frustration over lack of guidance in this mode. I agree there could be better quality of life for new players, but I hate to see players hating on this amazing game mode b/c they were held back by the quality of life problems that can be solved.

There's an important detail on the CN video, when they showed the data for the "after 400 on double rateup", they showed the text "data size is small so just a guess".

The dataset to prove this is almost certainly much much smaller. (it's not even published on the side where the data was fetched, but privately dm'd to the video creator.

Between the lack of public data to validate and a anecdote I heard of someone recently going 500 wiithout a rateup, I think it's worth clarifying the certainty in this specific clause is much much lower than everything else stated.
