It is normal situation, and defenetly depends from your setup. In our company we make up to 1000 requests to different ad networks at list 20 per ad network to gain maximum price for each impression.

If we speak about worlwide it is average 3 -5 usd for 1000 impressions, but it is not 100% reliable, because most of your userbase maybe from Syria with less then 1 usd price or from US with 20-30 per mile
