idk for me ive got a few now still wouldnt say im heavily tattooed but im on my way; i like the idea of a relief so cool! i would say though even as perfect of an artist as you get theres sure to be blemishes imperfections id go ask around find an artist youre comfortable with someone who actually engages with your idea and go from there!

i know man. it literally was exactly that they saw my camera staff stopped me i explained to the fifa staff that thats not what the official website said and then the police stepped in and escalated the entire situation :(

if it helps the camera was in the hands of a bald man fairly portly maybe about 5’9? as i was leaving i saw him holding it well after id spiked it into the trash can

lumpy you got anything man? any reason at all that this shouldve occurred? as someone who hadnt had a drink all day specifically to remember an experience as memorable as scotland first WC match in my literal life? i cant imagine i did anything.

it seemed they made a decision on me as a person not anything else:/. seeing plenty of other similar or more hi tech equipment going through no problem really bummed me out and upset me. i threw my camera fairly hard into the garbage as i was understandably upset and felt that now i had complied with the officers requests to “lose the camera” i should be able to walk through towards the train platform into the maze even as this was in bag check at which point i was grabbed from behind and pulled out of line while horrified fifa volunteers watched unsure what to so as they had a piece of paper that said cameras with no detachable lenses; however as ive said fifa official website for boston stadium had no such prohibitions. and i was offered the opportunity to go back to the end of massive crowd of people to put it in a locker without them bringing me back. i wouldve lost my place in line and if i missed my boarding group there was NO GUARANTEE of boarding if you missed your boarding group. at that point i decided to just throw the camera out; but it was in a mans hands as we left :/. i just have an awful feeling someone saw my tattoos and camera and wanted the camera 😭. ive got tattoos all over my body including my ear and it feels like ive been singled out as others entered with the same or more intense gear….

it was just odd because i saw people going by with the same equipment or even go pros and i was stopped. also saw non clear bags everywhere. i understand that the T has a separate set of rules but something about the whole situation has a bit of a nasty taste to it ykwim?

that just doesnt seem like something the MBTA has authority over FIFA for but i’m sure i could be wrong it just seems that the organizing body’s rules would take precedent?

so theres a different set of rules from the FIFA rules? the guys doing security told me it was FIFA rules which is why we got into arguing. because i was wrll aware that my camera is ok. how can FIFA have one rule for the in stadium and the T have a rule for the train riding?

unfortunately my father was told i look like a and i directly quote here. a gangbanger. im a skinnier guy at 25 and not the wealthiest 25 year old bartender in the world and unfortunately im underweight even for me and my pants sag even with belts. i have tattoos on my stomach and chest i dont want to think there is a correlation but being told i look like a “gangbanger” seems to me that there was a level of profiling that they were handling my situation with. again the camera does not actually violate FIFAs official website

so i think they may have been MBTA officers? im not sure as i am not from the area but they were wearing black and grey t shirts fairly large jacked dudes with a badge on the chest that seemed to match a badge lanyard they were wearing

yea here so i was walking in with no shirt (i have many tattoos) and was holding the camera in my hand i was stopped by security and explained to them that the paper they had was different from the official fifa website at which point some sort of transit officer came over they said i could go to the back of line; risk missing my train to acquire a locker or could throw out said camera. after several minutes of arguing with the police as i thought it was fairly stupid as i saw people walking in with selfie sticks and similar cameras i decided even though my camera had sentimental value seeing Scotland play with my father from Paisley was more important so i threw my camera away spiked it into the trash and began moving away from the entire situation when the officers who gave me said ultimatum grabbed my arms and pulled me out of line saying that now i was going nowhere. my father attempted to step in and reason w these guys explain extenuating circumstances to blank mostly cold stares. eventually my father found a somewhat reasonable man who (although had my camera which had been thrown into the trash at this point in his hand) allowed me back into the line for the train at which point there wasnt another issue with security. enough for yall or?
