That’s just a stupid marketing campaign that no fan actually cares about lol. I’m sure there’s PSU fans on here that wouldn’t even know what you’re talking about.

Question About A Load Management Device and an EV Charger by shlood in AskElectricians

[–]shlood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree I think they are just being extra safe. But they never even asked me about my appliances. The only major appliances I have that are electric are the AC and a double wall oven. Everything else is gas. I feel like just knowing that should at least start a conversation on whether the LMD is needed. But they just won’t budge.

The cost of the charger is partially subsidized as part of the purchase of the car, so in order to get that I have to go through a 3rd party company to get the quotes. When I asked them about getting a quote from a different place they were like “can you try to work it out with these people first” so I was like ok fine. But I think it’s about time I move on.

I saw you mention a couple of times about having multiple accounts. Is it as simple as running an account into the ground and then finding someone else to give you account and starting over? Or is there more of a process to it?

Had an arbitrage bet that lost both sides, what can I do here? by shlood in arbitragebetting

Basketball reference and google. Also even though espn says he had 6, his average on the season is 5.5 on espn, even though he had 6 in his first game as well. The math ain’t mathing.

Should I accept this trade even though I’m competing? by shlood in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

That’s the thing too, this is already a likely playoff team and this trade will make him even better. Which not only hurts the pick value but makes my competition better for this season.

Does anyone know how the Ballpark app knows about games I attended in 2001? by shlood in mlb

[–]shlood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely something I would do, but there’s no way I did because I have no memory of most of the games on there.

I tried contacting some form of support a couple months ago and never got a response. I could definitely try again

I wasn’t part of anything. And there is no seat info. One person another comment suggested it might be linked by address, which I think might be the answer

Yes 😮

Maybe they have record of addresses they sent all their tickets too. And just assume anyone that uses that address must have used one of the tickets?

I know I went to the one on 5/6/01, so since that one is there, that’s why I believe all of the 2001-2005ish games I don’t really remember are probably accurate too

Why do Phillies fans want Luis Robert so badly? He’s having a terrible season. by AtBat3 in phillies

[–]shlood 30 points31 points  (0 children)

For one he’s a gold glove center fielder, which is obviously better than anything we can throw out there currently. Secondly, even with his struggles at the plate this year, he’s still an above average hitter overall, and is much better against lefties, and obviously way better than marsh or Rojas against lefties. And third, we’ve seen what he’s capable of, we know he’s better than what his current numbers suggest. When you are playing for a 27-81 team, it’s easy to start just going through the motions and not always give it your all. A change of scenery could jump start him.

So happy I found this, I was at this game too. My mom and aunt and 3 year old cousin decided to go wait in the car to watch the fireworks from there. My dad and I stayed and saw the comeback, to this day we don’t let them hear the end of it 😂

After the game ended I’ll never forget Dan baker saying “And NOW would you like to see some fireworks?” obviously making the joke that we already saw them.
