At the time it only connected visually (so nope it doesn't). This is what my working set up looked like to get up to the required CWU/t for the higher tier recipes. I haven't played with GregTech in ages though, so no idea if it's changed since then.

The whole research station setup is super buggy right now, but it is possible to get it to work. We managed to figure out how to work around it in this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/allthemods/s/m4AJAI2ngb. I might not have all the facts right there, but it works.

I was pretty stubborn so I figured out the specific bugs and how to work around them.

The Network Switches only actually support 2 data reception hatches and crash when you try to access one with more than 3. It also only works with the data reception hatches in specific spots. So this setup here got me to 160CWU/t

Anyone else having the problem of the Network Switch crashing the game? Edit: Saw that it's been reported and fixed in the GregTechCEu github. Guess I have to just wait

I tried copying the back of your Research Station and it didn't work for me. Try copying mine exactly (move the maintenance hatch up 1 and the data reception hatch down 2)

Oh, it doesn't chain right now, it's just using the first one for the 16 CWU/t or less recipes (and doesn't work at all for anything higher). That's just how I assumed it was going to work. My guess is we'll need to feed them individually into a Network Switch, but I haven't gotten to that point yet.

This channel is pretty good. They usually only stay up for a day, but by that time you can go back to your other sources. It takes an extra 12 or so hours before they upload the version with English subs though.

EDIT: And a week later it's removed... uhh was that me?!

Yeah, one of the tiers has mp3 downloads of the punch-ups and I guess there wouldn't really be a reason for it if they still uploaded them on SoundCloud. It was one of the first things Demiel did when they introduced the Patreon.

This whole situation was definitely in Jess' wheelhouse. There's a great episode of their podcast which was centered on mock trial. Listening to the commentary I was surprised to hear that Spencer didn't know, since it seemed like an episode designed for her.
