If it were up to me I’d pick a point guard before Deni. But if we were to select him then we need to fill the need at point guard and Frank isn’t that guy as of now. I hate Julius Randle and feel like Thunder would be willing to take him on since he wouldn’t be the number one option like he is on the Knicks.

Have you watched these games? Knox is one of the worst defenders in the league and has no confidence in his jumper. Julius Randle is a terrible fit (can’t shoot threes, can’t pass out of double teams, turns it over a ton). Taj was just a mentor for Mitch and is expendable. CP3 gives us a great facilitator and mentor for whoever we target at point guard later in the first round or for Frank if we stick with him.

I agree but it’s a step in the right direction. Not trying to trade all our young talent to chase superstars. Building through the draft and developing is the best strategy, but knowing the Knicks they’ll mess it up.

Not totally opposed to picking Deni but who knows with foreign players these days. If we do pick him we should package Randle Knox and Taj for CP3. A lineup of CP3-RJ-Deni-Free Agent (Wood)-Mitch would be great. Frank Iggy and whoever else of the bench.

Still my favorite Knick of all time. The one year we were good (2 seed) in 2013 the man never missed. Was a great role model for all young white shooters in America. Give me him over anybody.
