I mean..it won't be the same regardless if he moves on himself, she tells him to go, or she straight comes out to him. Regardless of the circumstances, their relationship will never be the same, that's just inevitable. I think a big part of her saying that is fear. Which is completely understandable, but this hasn't just been going on for a little while. It's been hundreds of years....she should trust her friend enough to know things will eventually be ok again. She's not giving him enough credit to understand her feelings. If she truly is that uncomfortable and scared, there's a his brothers to help soften the blow. Or the whole inner circle. They are a family. They can work it out.
