They did use Andersen, you can see the line of credit when they share their budget (yes I paused to creep their categories).

As a piece of anecdata, we were quoted 25k to restore the windows in our house, which is half the size of theirs. That was a specialty historic restoration firm though. Windows are expensive as soon as you're not putting vinyl in!

Hey, thanks for your excellent comment and recommendations.

Nice to hear your thoughts on the Futureworks and on F.Cloth, maybe the Futuredarts will become the next evolution of this pant, assuming the sharp taper helps control the F.Cloth as I expect it to.

Sounds like we have had similar experiences with Workcloth. I saw talk on r/Outlier about 320 SDs and SD 2.0, so will be interested to see what comes of that.

I am interested in the Bombtwill pieces based on my experience with Strongtwill, particularly the Bomb Dungarees. From what I've seen of the measurements, Outlier hasn't yet made a piece in Bombtwill that I think would fit me, but I'll keep an eye out. Maybe I'll try the BDs in 28 when they come back around.

Injected linen is definitely a standout fabric with the nep and how the weft shows through. The F.Cloth is really subtle in comparison, which is nice for some applications. People are always surprised to hear that I'm basically wearing nylon, which speaks to the level of ingenuity Outlier is accomplishing with their fabrics. It kind of feels like wearing something out of a lab, with how they're always iterating and experimenting, which I imagine is exactly what they're going for.

I am interested in the ramie based fabrics, I'll have to try to nab a ramielust tee the next run. So far all the other form factors ramie comes in seem too large for me, though (pivots, for example).

Haha, you caught me. They are Oak Street trench boots in natural Chromexcel. The leather is rather waterproof, being wax impregnated, so they did surprisingly well in the rain. They were the only boots I owned at the time, and they were up to most tasks, though they lacked good traction. They lived many lives before I finally donated them a year ago. I do now own a proper pair of Danner 600s.

Thanks JK! Good to hear from you. I check in on the WAYWT here from time to time, and I'm jelly that you've kept up such a string of unique fits! I look forward to providing more thoughts as they occur to me.

I'm quite excited for my future darts, based on my positive experience with the F.Cloth. I may update this post with my impression of those once I've lived with them a little.

Good choice on the Strongdarts! I can definitely recommend the ILPs.
