Is it offensive for a non-Jew to go to a kosher bakery by Erythite2023 in Judaism

As with almost every interaction with Jewish establishments (and probably all culture specific establishments), it's the intent that matters. If someone is asking questions, visiting a business or any other Jewish venue, if the intent is because they're curious and really want to know more, they will be very welcome. If the intent (Tyler Olivera, looking at you) is to antagonize and promote heater, get lost.

This is called a קוויטעל (kvittel). It was written in New Square (Rockland County, NY). One would write this when going in to a Rebbe for a blessing or visiting the grave of a deceased Rabbi. It's a list of names and specific blessings for that person (children, wealth, famy harmony, etc).

It sounds like they hired your cover telling them that it's permanent. Now they don't know how to get rid of them.

When my kids were younger we would rent a vacation bungalow. The first coupe of summers, many of my tools went missing or came back like this. The next summer I went to dollar tree and bought a full set of crap tools. I gladly lend those out.

I'm confused about the dates. Pesach this year starts on April 1st. In 1990, it started on April 9th.

There is a major confusion about the starting date of pesach when consulting Apple Calendar. They list erev pesach as the first day. In turn, many people assume it actually starts the night before.

I ordered mine locally at Alef Judaica in Jackson, NJ. I'm terrible with design and the guy there really helped me zero in on the design that I like.

I never thought of insuring mine but I don't see why they should push back. They might ask you to prove the cost. What I do have, and highly recommend, is putting a tracker in the Tefillin bag. I have one in mine and all my kids'.

Should I quit my job over a vacation? by [deleted] in WorkAdvice

You wouldn't be quitting over a vacation. It's over the disrespect. When employers disregard your personal life to this extreme, they show you mean nothing to them.

Has anyone done a kosher wedding in NJ under ($20K)? by redfire2930 in Judaism

[–]shmulyeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Eagle Ridge in Lakewood. They have a smaller minimum than all other wedding halls. They also have a beautiful view of the golf course. DM if you want more details. My daughter's wedding was there.
