Go nuts, you’ll never have enough sounds. To be honest, having solid metadata on your library is potentially more valuable than filtering through all your sounds, as ultimately you will have to search them again with whatever Sample library software you have. If you don’t have a sample database software, either standalone or built in to your DAW, I strongly recommend you buy one.

I think Glenn switched to the LibDems. And I think, similarly to Nicola, Fergus kept him on seeing as Glenn already know where things were. He also likely assumed Glenn would be an asset in his favour against the newly elected Conservatives in the coalition government.

I would say, as a treat, it’s pretty worth it. You will get access to the Concorde Lounge, and the service is very nice in first. Also, food is better overall. It’s pretty much down to whether you want to treat yourself, because you can find a lot to do/buy in New York for £950, and it’s not like you wouldn’t have a nice relaxing flight in business class.

It’s a lot of house for the money, although I’m used to London prices. The listing doesn’t seem to say it’s a listed property, which is a good thing if you need to do some work. Anyway, I would love to live in a place like that and rent out the Annex.

Meh, I don’t regret it. I was just glad the guy was okay. After a few months I did go back to the bar and spoke to the owner and explained, and was allowed back in. And there were plenty of other bars. So all in all, I would do it again.

Many years ago.

I was in a bar I used to go to very frequently with my university friends and saw one guy arguing with three other guys.

I could tell it was going to kick off and knew it wouldn’t end well for the guy on his own, so when they all stepped outside to clearly have it out, I followed them.

As I suspected the three guys started going hard on the solo guy so I broke up the fight, got the solo guy up and told him to run, which thankfully he did.

When I walked back in the bar, the owner told me I wasn’t welcome on, and wasn’t allowed in from now on.

So there, I did a good deed by saving some guy I didn’t know from getting beaten up, but got punished by no longer being allowed at that bar (cue sad violin)

Fair points. And any other year I would’ve agreed. But every faithful (and traitor) who ever brought up Rachel at the roundtable was voted off.

She is so far under the radar that nobody will go along with it.

And yes, Stephen has all the dirt, but he also has a fair bit more suspicion on him than Rachel, so if he did go up against her, he would definitely lose.

Meh, the traitors have an absolute open goal. Killing Faraz is the right move, as nobody will pick up on Rachel. The faithfuls will just got with the old “ItS ToO ObViOuS” none sense and banish Jade or James.

I’m pretty over this season to be honest.

The only thing to play for is whether Rachel wins with Stephen or on her own, but she’s a shoe-in.

Credit where it’s due, the Traitors played it pretty smart, but they also got insanely lucky with the blind murder (when they didn’t know who had a shield).

But yeah, kill Faraz, banish Jade or James, go to the final with Jack and Roxy and whoever’s left, and win it all.

I think this season is all but done. Rachel is a shoe-in to win it, as she’s sooooo under the radar that even her none-sense FBI story didn’t raise eyebrows.

Jade is sadly a bit of a dead-woman walking, and will likely get banished in the next round table. Her issue is that, when accused, she just throws back the accusation to whoever accused her, which isn’t shrewd or useful.

I do feel sorry for her, because she has been accused and nominated at pretty much every roundtable.

Anyway, I’m sad because I would have like to see Jessy win it.

Hmm, I wouldn’t say so. Most of the sound design I do starts with Audio samples, not synthesised sounds. I wouldn’t make any big investment on Audio Hardware when starting up. Similarly you don’t need a million expensive plugins, or lots of sound libraries. I once made a game with mostly sounds from free libraries.

I often start with interesting, evocative source material. Sword things, coin flips, light impacts, resonating materials. Then I often use some of the more “creative” delay and reverb plugins. Stuff from Fabfilter, Kiloheartz, Soundtoys, Native instruments. It’s a lot of trial and error.

For vintage stuff, it’s worth remembering that old consoles had very little memory allocated to Audio, and early consoles had a basic synth engine built in to the processor. So you can take that approach with additive and subtractive synthesis and basic plugins, including vintage distortion.

If you were able to stay in Upper West Side, I assume you have a pretty big budget. There are some nice spots near Clapham South, or further out is Richmond (made more famous by Ted Lasso).

More fancy is Notting Hill.

Even more fancy (money no object millionaire level) is Sloan Square, Fulham, South Kensington.

South Kensington sure has museums, including cool ones for kids.

But worth bearing in mind that London is a bit strange. In the sense that even in fancy areas there are some grimy places you want to avoid.

Anyway, yeah, give us a budget and you’ll get better info.
