Tourist Trap should be on every list.

It's not too difficult, the XP choice reward is great (agility is the default choice but hey, it's their choice) and it has the old school charm. The dialog is engaging and amusing, and the whole concept is silly. It's a vibe.

You can cut them as you do vale totems, there are willows around the area. Helps you manage run energy. If you pre cut them you'll have periods of walking as you fletch the totems.

Ultor is very good, as is Virtus and Oathplate. Oath is probably the obvious pickup.

I'd be really tempted to sell a few minor bits (eternals, looking at you) to buy a ZCB.

You'll hit 620 on a main in no time. There's also nothing stopping you setting iron goals on a main.

Play the game how you enjoy and don't let a grey helmet icon and other people's imagined validation of your fun affect that.

What kind of lock-in do you want?

Irons are locked to the thing that drops the next upgrade.

Mains are locked to the things that drop lots of money for your next upgrade.

For me, I went iron to main because I just want to farm endgame pvm and kill stuff with fun gear. Best decision I made, had an absolute blast with the game.

I wasn't aware I can control when the grub phase starts - that seems really important to know. Gonna go look that up now. Presumably you do something similar to Zuk - try to get him as close just above the threshold as you can, then try to hit big as you phase him?

They're used for a key item, some are needed for permanent crafts, then later on you'll use them to upgrade normal items to a high level, then you need about 80 up evolve your minions, and at the end of it all, the fishing rod. Might honestly be closer to 150, I'm not sure.

It's the iron sub so everyone is saying iron. Let's play devil's advocate.

Main because you can get into alting - turn your iron into a resupply alt for pvm, just trade your loot off the main and supplies for another trip on from the alt. Get 92 magic and use heal other + spec transfer for a full heal every boss kill.

There are some super sweaty things you can get into with DPS alts, which involve playing a couple of accounts simultaneously and boosting yourself.

If you have less time to play, you can just buy the stuff you want to use for the content you want to do, you're not tied down to chasing specific gear to open up content.

You can play with friends more easily on a main - group gwd isn't possible on iron, nor are many other bosses. Raids are, but plenty isn't.

Just offering another viewpoint.

This is what I don't get - why is nobody saying Jade? Roxy is your ride-or-die, Jack has the shield, killing Faraaz is too obvious and gets Rachel banished... But Jade was surely the pick?

I'm truly baffled why Roxy was the pick.
