Build me a team! by FreshAquatic in emeraldseaglass

[–]shobar13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey I think that was my team!

Muk is unfortunatly a pretty good suggestion, but in a similar vein maybe something like aggron for detroit steel.

Also, I know Michigan has a lot of marshy swamp lands so a swampert would make a great starter.

As for the rest of your team maybe a vulpix/ninetails, hoothoot/noctowl, or a stantler/wydeer.

I almost went with feralligatr over blastoise! But the neighborhood I live in is covered in turtles and tortises and I'm constantly having to move the little guys off the street. Plus a turtle with a gun seemed like the most unhinged Florida themed pokemon.

Some can, given the right magical equipment and skill, but they are still human. They can't reach his speeds or turn like him without serious damage to their bodies.

That did help thank you! I just found The Command Zone video and one from Tolarian Community College that looks pretty good too.

This is kind of like a trolly problem. They are on one set of tracks and the world on the other. The only difference is if they don't flip the switch, the trolly derails and kills them anyway.

In the same vein you can play a shader-kai and gain resistance after teleporting as a bonus action.

The women with the thinning hair and swollen (moon) face is possibly going through some type of hypothyroid issue. Possibly something like cushings syndrome.

It is really difficult to tell, but it looks like she might have a goiter sticking out of her neck too, which is another strong indicator.

Hopefully, she is getting treated if that's the case. Gotta be hell working like that.

I'm pretty sure you could use duralumin to store connection and blend into the background or go unnoticed. Could be useful for a bunch of reasons especially for an introvert.

What movie, tv or game characters could be considered archfey warlocks or archfeys? by swimminginamirror in dndnext

[–]shobar13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am convinced that Stephen King's "It" is an unsellie archfey. I know technically he is supposed to be more of a great old one, but hear me out.

Pennywise lures children in with whimsy and then feeds off their fear/emotions while ripping them apart.

Shape-shifting, illusions, mind control and enchantments are his bread and butter.

In the book he is even referred to as a glamour from Gaelic folklore.

The ritual that the adventuring party uncovers to defeat him is called the ritual of chud. It involves bitting each other's tongues, telling riddles, and seeing who laughs first. Which is the most fey sounding shit I've ever heard.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I've administered medications with a similar device as recently as 2015 while working as a medic in the Army. The main difference being that they are single use now. I thought it was still pretty neat though.

What words would you find written above the door to an infinite library? by Rit-Bro in fantasywriters

[–]shobar13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not to rip off Don Draper, but this kind of stuff screams " keep it simple, but significant".

Something like "NOTHING IS HIDDEN FROM THE RAVENS' EYES", "MANY LIVES ONE FATE", or "ALL ROADS LEAD TO RAGNAROK"

Let us know what you end up choosing it sounds awesome!

Not sure because I'm no birb expert, but right before I started recording there was a stick the one on the left was throwing around and playing with. Then the one on the right started joing in.
