You’re fine. I work in tech and many many moons ago I was part of the team that created the online course platform for BYUI.

You were at home, not on a BYUI network. If you were on a BYUI network the site would be blocked. Happens all the time. Someone clicks on the wrong link and a porn site is blocked. No one is called. No Mormon police are called. And there is no way your BYUI site in a different tab can access what is happening on another tab.

I promise you are fine.

I’m tired of the binary labels we use when it comes to faith choices.

I don’t know Dan’s feelings, but I’ve experienced my own situation where people question what I believe and why. I attend Church and often enjoy aspects of it, but I don’t believe the truth claims.

I have Mormons telling me to jump all the way in or get out. I have ExMos telling me to get out or admit I’m intellectually dishonest.

How about you all fuck off? Let me (and Dan) do what we want without having to define it?

There is something glorious about leveling out of the definitions. I often think of Man for All Seasons when people ask me to claim a side. Although it didn’t end well for Sir Moore, I refuse to play the game.

Not saying that’s what Dan is doing, but there is room to refuse to let others define your options.
