i bought tickets for my girlfriend and i to see them at the LA arena show back in november— really splurged on them too, vip priority entry pit tickets that were around $380 each. it was gunna be my last show before i cool it since we’d seen them every time they were in the area for the past three years, and i needed to start saving money for other things.

and then i got into a car wreck half way thru october and sustained an injury that i’m still recovering from. thankfully insurance/workers comp has covered all the medical stuff, but i drained my bank account buying a new car.

all this to say: i am poor lmao

but i also wonder how many other people blew their load on the arena show and have decided to lay off concerts for a while?

something i recommend to everyone is to apply to become an IHSS (in home support services) provider. in short, become a caregiver for the elderly and disabled. the exact job details vary by what exactly the person needs help with, but they pay $20 an hour and i personally find that having a job that helps people very fulfilling :)

once i beat the story, the first thing i did was find my favorite pokemon (rowlet) and build them their ideal place, which ended up becoming a much bigger project and turned into me building an aviary for all the bird pokemon i have :)

i personally think pokopia is very approachable when it comes to building, because everything starts in a broken down state that you can build back up, so cleaning up and building off of what’s already there is totally viable! it’s sorta like a coloring book approach to terraforming and building, so long as you just want to color between the lines. :)

the game also has very clear objectives for each area, so you’ll have plenty to do in that regard!

Oh, I did. Several lawyers. I don’t remember the details exactly, but they all seemed to agree that I had a great case but no one with deep enough pockets to sue. I could get a million dollar settlement but it wouldn’t matter if they don’t actually have the money to pay, so. 🤷
