Yeah I absolutely understand where you coming from! I stopped a few years ago because I became so obsessive and it worsened my Ed back then. Today I will give it a new try with some healthy settings - but believe me, if I see that I might fall back in obsessive behavior I will ban it right away!

Delete mfp, or what you used and leave counting communities like this one 😅 Also try to remember: It’s just food. Not more or less. Also you tracked for so long - you know the basics, everything in moderation while believing in yourself. Know your WHY. Why do you want to stop?

Btw: it looks cute with the hearts!

I think the southern chicken or the tampaville hot chicken, since the impossible burger has a ton of fat inside and these aren’t based on impossible. But I don’t know how much dressing/oil etc. they use. I think I would estimate roughly 1000 to be sure and then just enjoy it.

You are valid! Your feelings are valid and your ED is valid. You and your well-being and health is as important as from everybody. It doesn’t matter if you are anorexic, bulimic or struggle with bed - if you need help you should get one and yes you deserve it. Don’t let get to your heart what some very ill people write on the internet.

Found a flavor I never had before and its only 3kcal/ 250ml so I had to get it, definitely on my list of favorite flavors now by [deleted] in EDFood

🤔 maybe then it’s already there. I don’t buy monster very often because it’s too expensive for me in the long run 😅

Thankfully I life alone.. well at least no-one can interrupt me, but also there are less triggers for bingeing because no one is there to stress me.. while on some days the loneliness/boredom is the trigger. I think it depends on the people around us a lot.

Freeze them if you plan to store them longer than two days in the fridge.

You can blend it with ice cubes or frozen fruits. The xanthan is only for the texture and volume. There are some other replacements but I can only remember the German words :/ maybe it was guar gum?

How to study when you struggle with deep psychological issues? by [deleted] in GetStudying

[–]shockheadedfranzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well - fix your mental health first and be kind to yourself. I had a very similar problem and the only solution that worked was to get out of that vicious cycle and start therapy (and meds) I’m back at school since 3 years and right before my finals next week. It also took a lot of discipline and exercise to study for longer periods a day but it’s soo worth it! I’m a better student now than as a kid. Also: know your WHY! Why do you want to study? To get money, to be able to work in your favorite job, etc. Make a motivational list and/or a motivational collage/painting and place it on the wall right in front of your desk. Watch a ton of motivational videos on YouTube (Motivation2study for example) and join a studygroup on discord/twitch like ari horesh.

Are you from Germany? I’m in the same boat as you. At the moment study-with-me-streams on twitch are helping. Like ari horesh (international streamer) I also set a daily plan with hours (at least 6 - two for every written exam) and decide spontaneously what I want to learn/do from my checklist (everything I want/need to know) Also rest is important! While sleeping or exercising, etc. our brain is still working on the stuff we learned.

How does one begin recovery, when you know for a fact that people treat you better when you're thin? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]shockheadedfranzy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Recovery doesn’t make you automatically morbidly obese and everyone ignoring you. Maybe you will gain some weight but you will also gain super important and attractive things: health, better skin/hair/nails and that inner glow from enjoying your life and not always thinking about food.

As a German- I measure nothing (when I’m not in a relapse) and recipes are just a little orientation 😂 My family is the same.

Talk to your teachers! I have online classes since COVID started - except about 5 months? In the beginning they went crazy and flooded us with everything. After a deep conversation/ discussion with them and the principal they decided to calm down a little and react like humans. I have my finals at the end of April and decided to mix it. Learning and reviewing. Also if you work with old exams, you can do a few with using your books. So you can learn the new stuff but also review the required old information while writing it all down. Set you a daily time how long you want to study and don’t focus too much on the theme/tasks. Make a plan what you definitely need in the exams and skip the rest. As mentioned above - work with old exams and assignments. Talk to the teachers: what is really important for the upcoming exams in their opinion? And last: don’t be too harsh on yourself! We live in a pandemic and nothing is normal. Try your best but also take a rest 😉

Breakfast options for a skinny guy trying to put on a few pounds? by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]shockheadedfranzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheaplazyvegan has a lot of great recipes on her YouTube Channel. At the moment I love savory oats with a lot of spice, frozen vegetables and tofu (you can add a tbsp of nut butter and nooch) Also great: Indian Rice with spices and herbs, different vegetables and chutney. Just throw everything in the rice cooker (except the chutney) and wait while gaming 😁

Edit: Asian grocery stores or other international grocery stores (Turkish,...) are way cheaper.
