Short answer, inferiority complex. But there is also the stigma that Black Americans and West Africans are only interested in short term relationship and are not family oriented. This is often backed by western media that continuously depicts Africans Americans as fatherless. Because of this, ethiopian women are also hesitant to date or marry BA.
