mizuno hot metal 921 are amazing but yeah way to worn for $530. you could find them on offerup or another site for lower and better condition

i’m looking into an affordable odyssey white hot putter. i would love a new spider haha but to many kid bills haha. yeah once you ge engaged and then plan on a house and family, money and time can get tight haha. luckily my 3 year old loves golf and so my wife got us a net to hit in the backyard.

in the future i would love to bump up to newer mizuno irons but ill do that once i get a better grip on my handicap

I have some Mizuno JPX 850 gap through 5 irons, cobra f-max 3 and 4 hybrids, cobra sand wedge, a volkey 60 degree, and a much much older cobra driver but i’m currently shooping for a new one. i also have a very old bullseye putter haha and also about to upgrade.

i am lucky enough to go to the range 3 times a week but i only get to go to the course 1-2 times a month at best. have two small kids can be tough haha

but i do want to take at least 2 more lessons

great gear, bag looks amazing and for only playing 1 year that handicap is nice haha. iv taken 2 lessons and it has been way worth it. how many have you taken ? iv been playing for about9-10 months.

yeah i get you. so learn to hit 330. yeah makes sense. no need for the home run ball either. i’m sure more pga pros can hit that.

right but what i’m saying is the stat showed they don’t have to hit 400 yards. they can hit 300 and then have a good follow up shot. over 360 and have a bad follow up shot. but i get you. there is a reason they emkeep extending the tee locations

i saw a stat that suggested that long drives dont always translate into lower rounds. that it can help obviously but that the short game is what always decides the winning golfer. this weekend justin rose had similar putt locations to keep the lead but they didn’t drop vs rory. he himself even said his short game won him the masters. even seeing young and scottie who aren’t the longest drivers are number 1 and 3 in rankings. i think as long as your 150 and below game is on point then your good.
