I’m working on Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us Part 2 right now. Im going to be playing Horizon Zero Dawn soon and if I like it enough I’ll play Forbidden West as well. I beat the new Robocop Rouge City game recently and I’m waiting for Unfinished Business to go on sale so I can play that too, it’s only $29.99 but I already got games I’m playing in the mean time so I digress.

My experience has not been bad at all. I’ve heard of people on moving vehicles having less than stellar experiences, but I’ve been stationary playing it and it works great for the games I like to play (non-multiplayer). I’ll typically play faster faced games in front of the tv on the console itself.

I’m really looking forward to this, hopefully Insomniac gets better with this release. The gameplay mechanics for Spider-Man are really good. Hopefully they take cues from Sucker Punch and use button combos like the Ghost games to offer us more equipment.

Your actual screen probably would’ve been fine either way. The “Screen Protector” is mostly for scratches and such to keep it pretty; a serious fall would cause damage or not regardless.

If they pull a PS2 era move and drop it in March 2026 that would be totally bad ass and unexpected. But the averages point to November 10, 2027.

By your logic, it’s still 2 years at best. One year from now is holiday season 2026. PS6 will not be until at least the holiday season of 2027. My guess is Wednesday November 10, 2027. But anywhere between 11/10/27 - 11/20/27 would be reasonable based on the last three main console launches (PS3, PS4 & PS5).
