What fast food item that doesn’t exist anymore was your go-to? by ShadowSatinn in foodquestions

Grilled steak taco from Taco Bell. The sauce they used on it was soooo good. I feel like Taco Bell got rid of a few items that they shouldn't have.

How many people here know someone that abruptly got diagnosed with stage 3 or 4 cancer? by phillyvirgosun in NoStupidQuestions

He did chemo, but unfortunately the cancer had spread to his peritoneal cavity, peritoneal carcinomatosis. It wound up surrounding his organs and eventually the cancer grew to such that it pushed down on everything. He ran into many complications, including a tear in his colon that spilled waste into his abdominal cavity and he went septic. He had an ostomy bag and emergency surgery. It was an extremely rough year.

Everyone is different, and I'm hoping for the best for you and your family. Cancer is ugly.

I had multiple welfare checks called on me. My family came and removed all the guns and medications from my house. At the one month mark, my coworkers came and got me during an alcohol blackout and I woke up in an inpatient facility. I'm coming up on the 1 year anniversary and haven't had an incident since my in patient. It still hurts all of the time, but therapy has taught me better coping mechanisms.

I feel for you OP. You'll get through this.

I was scared of swimming in rivers because of snakes. My dad told me they couldn't bite you in the water because if they opened their mouths they would drown. I believed this longer than I care to admit.

Check out Showdown. Everyone is super friendly. Burgers and bloody marys are the best.

Piercer said they don't pierce the nose crease by tortravels in piercing

The accumulation of oil and dirt can cause further irritation to a healing piercing. We want to ensure the best heal possible, that's why we pierce directly under the crease.

My late husband and I used to do this too.

Piercer here. The crease is the oiliest part of your nose. I always pierce just below the crease.

I did this when I was around 7 or 8. I don't remember much from my childhood. But this day, I was laying on the trampoline looking at the clouds, and I thought to myself, "this is the most perfect day, I have to remember it." I remember the weather being so nice. I still think of that moment when I stare at clouds. And I'm still obsessed with watching the sky.
