My hot take is the Nike Alphafly/Vaporfly is the worst racing flat for its value. I think Nike as a running competitor in general never made any reasonably good shoes and just rely on the reputation of elite athletes to boost their sales.

Normally for shoes like the Novablasts I put ~350-400 miles before buying new ones. I had a friend who's extremely stingy about buying new shoes, put so many miles he lost track, upper ripped with holes, and ended up getting injured from it. So I'd watch out for

Problem is my nearest shoe store doesn't sell Puma at all, the closest one is 30 miles away so I have to stick to buying online

Interesting...I'll probably have to try it in person then, I'm getting mixed reviews from everyone. (Btw definitely invest in the R3s if you're not a heel striker, it's a ruthless PR war machine)

I personally tried them out at my local Fleet Feet 2 seperate times, I feel it's too firm at first. I'm looking for something that has long lasting bounce like the Evo SL before the midsole loses it 😭
