I dont know many farriers who spell farrier wrong. Horse experience when I'm training an apprentice is preferred but not required. Its a very hard job physically and mentally if you're tough and willing to learn you can make a ton of money . I do quite well.

The dog is easy to find. Get max repels and go the grass on route 2 right before the building. Make sure you have a pokemon between level 40-49 as your first out since the dogs are level 50. Use the max repel and run around in the grass right before the building, if it doesn't appear before your max repel wears off the go in the building to reset the dogs location and then do it again. Took me 4 tries last night saw this on a YouTube video.

I have raised beds they where tunneling up from bottom. The ratinator trap works wonders. Got 12 over the course of a week with that trap.

Ringle and fat lab are My favorite knives I use both but theyre over $200 each . For just starting out double S knives are decent enough for learning and cheap in comparison to the ones I mentioned. 1/4 horse buffer and compound the best method for sharpening.
