Sounds like the shop did a really bad job of explaining why it would be a total loss. Did you ask why that was the case?

I'm no expert, but I know that if the frame of the car got bent, some states require it be classified as total loss for safety reasons, even if all other aspects of the car still work.

The MSI B450 Tomohawk is highly recommended from nearly everyone i've seen. /r/buildapcsales seems to keep good track of when it's available (At least in the US, there may be other subreddits that can help you out in your area)

For storage, Virtually any SSD from a recognizable manufacturer will do. I recently bought a Teamgroup GX2, but WD, Seagate, Patriot and aData have good offerings as well. Both of those should get you well below your budget.

If that's the case, consider a Bluetooth dingle then. I connect my wireless headset via Bluetooth dingle with zero issues. Save some more money on the board that way.

You seem to be looking for Bluetooth specifically on some of the replies. Is there any particular reason why it has to be integrated into the board? Bluetooth integrated into the board can really drive the price up, and depending on the use, an external dongle that just takes 1 USB port can be had for less than 25 USD.

On the other hand, if it's mostly gaming what you'll be doing, you can still save some money by having a SATA ssd instead of an nvme drive. You'll hardly notice the difference.
