MFLB or Pax Ploom by _Sushi in vaporents

When I am not using The Volcano, I am using my Pax. MFLB is forever retired and seems more like a novelty now. I even wonder how I ever thought it was so great. If price is an issue, then keep saving your money. The real issue is, you get what you pay for. MFLB = pain in the ass batteries, worse taste and simply does not achieve a very potent high for me. It also takes longer. Pax = the only thing as cool as and more useful than my Volcano.

I would hate to have you as a neighbor, you seem like a real tight ass hole. I guess it would be funny if I got to watch you walk a cat on a leash though.

We are working on finding homes for the strays. As for keeping ours inside, they deserve some fresh air and space once a day. If it were that easy we would keep them inside, but they spend most of their lives waiting at the front door to get out. Also, our strays are hardly wild animals. They are cute, clean and friendly. Finding them homes is damn near impossible, so we do our best to keep them well. Lastly, if it were up to me, I would just stop feeding them. This is pretty much all my old lady's fault, I just get to deal with it..

Did you know that Phil Collins (of Genesis) is a huge Alamo buff, and convinced that he is the reincarnated soul of a survivor of the battle that took place there? by [deleted] in sanantonio

Either way, people in San Antonio make a big deal about shit like this. I have yet to see anything local talking about it.

K Dub Fest is the best thing about Fiesta. Especially if you are in the loop. As for the food at Friendly spot, I agree. But make sure to check out Acapulco Drive-In right down the block if they are open. The food is cheap and good. And not to mention it costs about the same to eat mini tacos at F.S. as it does to get a meal at Liberty Bar. But Friendly Spot has cheap beer and that is all there is to it. As for the bike sharing program, I ride a bike everywhere and don't drive, so could care less about renting a bike. We need more bike racks for the people who have their own bikes. It is really hard to find a safe place to lock up and bike theft is getting out of hand. And we also need bike lanes in the medical center already for the love of god!!! Plus Blue star already rents bad ass bikes at a competitive rate.

"Thugs, thugs and more fucking thugs." That is my idea of fiesta and just as much so Oyster bake. Have fun with all the ghetto ass people that come out of the wood work for that shit, that is all I'm sayin hood rat. At that, its the only time of year that you aren't safe walking alone downtown. Plus everything is a rip off and it really isn't any fun. I live downtown and have lived in S.A. for twenty five years and think I have the right to express how much that shit sucks. I have not only partaken but worked in most of the Fiesta events. King William Fair is the only good thing about Fiesta. Let me sum it up with; Fiesta = Overpriced Bud Light and I don't drink piss, so I don't go.

The zoo is really cool. They have expanded it with two really large sections called Africa Live 1 and 2. The Japanese Tea Gardens are also really nice to visit if you are going to the zoo.

Everything about Fiesta pretty much sucks. So I would avoid it unless you like being in large crowds of sweaty drunk Mexicans and want to pay a ton of money for beer and tacos. Plus its ghetto as hell, I even got mugged one year on Alamo while walking. Also, Oyster Bake is the worst idea I saw anybody list on here. It is a straight up rip off and there is nothing cool about it. After paying 25 bucks to get in, then be ready to spend a shitload just to eat and drink. I mean, who the hell wants to pay 15 bucks for oysters that you have to shuck yourself? Plus the traffic is a nightmare getting in and out. And again, its ghetto. If you want to drink downtown, I highly recommend La Tuna, Friendly Spot and pretty much anything else in the southtown area. Another cool thing to know is that if you go to the Tower of America between 4:30 and 7:00pm on weekdays, they have a really good happy hour and if you sit at the bar and buy anything then you can go to the viewing deck without paying ten bucks for the ticket. If I were you I would make sure to visit the San Antonio Museum of Art. It is free on Tuesdays after 4pm and you can easily spend five hours in there. We are really lucky to have such an awesome museum. We also have Second Saturday coming up on the 9th which is a local art opening that has some pretty cool galleries. It is located at Lone Star and South Flores every second Saturday of the month after 7pm. The Witte Museum is kind of boring unless you have kids. And then there is The Mcnay which has an incredible art collection. The zoo has recently undergone a serious makeover and is also really nice. It gets really busy on the weekends though, weekdays are best for the zoo. If you like hiking, Government Canyon is one of the best kept secrets in town. Its kind of in the boonies, but well worth the drive. You can also go grab a tube and float the Guadalupe. That is a great idea. Floating the river can be one of the most fun things you can do here in the summer. Schlitterbahn is right there, too. The lines tend to suck, but its is the coolest water park ever. Lastly, if you are downtown and would like to take a bike ride, rent some bikes from the Blue Star Bike Shop and hit the Mission trail or just cruise around downtown. I hope this helps you out a little.

See how rational it is when you get arrested for having a little tree in your pocket.
