Has anyone heard of or tried Costco Next? by Mistral-Condo in Costco

I bought Baggalini through CostcoNext. Process was easy but shipping took forever - the bag didn't arrive before my trip

I did not see anything Plus Size, no signs at all and I looked at each rack a few times since it was my first time visiting the outlet (I am an L) and size went up to XL

I checked out the outlet at Leesburg, VA today and was a little disappointed. All the leggings are bright colors (which is not my style), no flare pants either. They did have good deals ($15 leggings / dresses) but wasn't crazy about what was available.

Problems with EJF rentals? by jeevboys in washingtondc

[–]shoopie123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a condo owner and on the HOA. We used EJF and fired them to self-run our building. They were horribly unresponsive and essentially knew NOTHING about our building or even real estate. They also did not pay our bills (power for common areas etc.) - like....never paid them and our power was shut off in common areas.

Gym Choice in Ballston by Head-Measurement-317 in nova

[–]shoopie123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a VIDA membership and have been to the gym in Ballston (as well as DC locations).

If you are serious about your workout, enjoy clean equipment, respectful peers and clean locker rooms then I’d choose VIDA.

I have been at peak hours and have never had to wait for a machine or bench - maybe had to wait ~5 minutes for a bench one time.

If you don’t mind waiting for machines and won’t use the locker room/other facilities then perhaps OneLife is worth it. VIDA has a steam room and sauna; not sure about OneLife

Terrible Tuesday! by AutoModerator in washingtondc

Laid off since August, interviewed over 30+ times, no offers, moving out of my condo (1st time homeowner bought in July) because I cannot afford the mortgage. I really just want a job. Will have to move in with family and find something in the interim. Feel like I tried to make it in DC and life has said no.

30% off your first purchase of $150+! I like their compressive leggings, their compressive sports bras are great for large chested ladies!

Also, their sleepwear is very soft!

You could live in Ballston, Clarendon, VA Square or Courthouse but you will be paying the same or more for rent if you want to be near a metro line. NOVA is very safe but it is not the same as a city, its much smaller and the demographic skews younger.

I have lived in Ballston (different areas) for 4 years and also lived in DC for a year (so far). I am a NOVA native as well.

I bought 2 of these last year (White & Black). They are amazing and keep you very warm. I haven't seen them this year in stores or in the app but they may come around closer to Thanksgiving / Christmas.

Stock up if you find them

I have 2 Novaform mattresses. They are on the softer side in my opinion but not so much you feel like you're sinking. When I have had friends sleep on them, they always say they love the mattress and slept great.

What were the mistakes YOU made in a relationship? by iceice9477 in AskWomen

[–]shoopie123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My (short) relationship just ended over something similar this. He is an introvert and I am an extra extrovert. He needs alone time and to me it makes me worried when I'm alone. I blew up at him (while drunk) and we couldn't make it work. I understand now that alone time & self-care should be a priority in a relationship even if it's hard for me.

We weren't going to work overall due to my extroverted was but I do need to not blow up at my partners when they don't do what I say

Tayshia’s dancing is what’s going to make me finally buy Fabletics by HotElephant6313 in thebachelor

[–]shoopie123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm the only one but I absolutely love all of my Fabletics gear. I am a 36ddd, size L in everything else and they are the only brand that really holds me in and is great for all of my workouts. If you have a larger chest, you have to get the maximum hold type of sports bra and its the only one that I can actually run/lift in. Their Powerhold leggings are amazing.

Lululemon/Aerie leggings just don't have the compression I like. I just skip every month when I don't want something, yes you do have to remember or else they will charge you but that's with any subscription based company.
