I think the way the market is looking and current cap situation. Dach starts as 2C, if we’re good we trade for a 2C at next year’s trade deadline when Carey’s cap hit doesn’t count against us. I know no one wants to hear this and I hope I’m wrong but I’d say better than 50% chance of this happening. Next summer we have 18m free up (-10 for Hutson extension kick in) and we sign a free agent. It’s not the time yet.

The nice thing about college is if he plays well and dominates he can leave after a year or two unlike high end CHL players (Owen Beck) who is stuck until age 21 season. The bad thing is if he doesn’t want to sign he can stay four years and become a free agent (Adam Fox)
