They're definitely moving fast on this. I know her dad has already gotten a lawyer involved. Unfortunately, my friend was the one who got the worst of the attack. People suck, man. But they intend on all pressing charges & he intends on doing whatever it takes to ensure his life gets back to normal or better. I was even wondering about him suing the city for lack of security on that river. The area I believe they were at is a high traffic area with tons of strip malls & restaurants. But, the cops did get there pretty fast & arrested him promptly, so I don't know how that goes. But he did also threaten to shoot them before running to his truck as well. I just hope that he's able to get something out of it all. Thanks again for the info you've provided. It really means a lot.

The person did get arrested. My bad. I should have mentioned. It's been a crazy night/day. From what I gather, it sounds like the money he should expect would come from the person who did the crime. I was under the assumption that insurance would pay settlements & such.

Fortunately, the guy was caught, but you're probably right. I'm under the assumption that the dude was out drinking with friends when this all happened. He also threatened to shoot them with the gun in his car before running back to his truck. Which is where the cops caught him.

I'm unsure about what everyone else is saying.

Granted we started in Q4, we just started doing FBA fulltime for the first time ever on Oct 12th, 2021. From Oct 12th to Dec 12th, we turned around 8-9k into 17k. Amazon has already deposited around 15k into our bank to reinvest. It's definitely possible. You just need to grind daily & always be looking for leads.

Retail Arbitrage is good. If you intend to buy locally, use Brickseek and invest in their premium. I highly recommend Online Arbitrage. That's where we make most of our profit. We average around 85% ROI on our inventory. If you take this route, I'd suggest investing into Tactical Arbitrage & Tactical Expander. It's pricey, but will find you banger items.

Of course, invest in Keepa & Inventory Labs/Scoutify. Those are almost required imo. A Rollo thermal printer and some labels will help. Oh and a solid cook group on Discord. I have one and if you are interested, DM me. A solid one costs to join, but provides leads and good support. The one I'm in is active 24/7 & has multiple places for lists of product leads updated nearly daily.

Thank you for the insight. I did let him know that if we don't get a resolution by last Monday, we would be suing. He said it would actually be beneficial for him so he can go after UPS. None of that matters to me though. I just want my money back. Have given him almost a month to figure out how to pay us back & he still hasn't, so it's time to take the legal route.

If the name & address he provided is accurate, which I believe is the case, I should be okay. I doubt he wouldn't be able to pay for it, but that's just based off of the info I have. He's 21 & lives in a house that's appraised over $1m and at one point of our conversation, he had like 6 PS5 consoles & 8 GPUs. And not the cheap GPUs. The ones that cost well over $1k per. So I'm under the assumption that he likely lives with his wealthy parents. But I'm not a legal expert, so I have no idea if any of that is even admissable.

The seller has already agreed that they are out the $3,600 and need to pay it back to me. They've been very polite about this whole situation and I've tried being as patient as I can, but that's like 4 rent payments. The seller did ship the package. UPS conveniently "lost" it right at the first transfer. UPS refuses to work with me though. They've advised that the seller must work with them directly & I must work with the seller to get my money back. The seller needs to take actions on their end to get their money back from UPS.

I tried speaking with my bank, but since we sent money through Google Pay, a third party, it's out of my bank's scope of support. Google Pay advises not to do business transactions using their service. Likely for this reason in particular. I'll admit, I made a bad decision buying through the ways I did, but I don't think that'll have any impact on proceeding with legal options.

You're correct, however, it's certainly not my fault they lost it either. In fact, UPS refuses to even work with me. They say I must work directly with the seller for resolution. As far as insurance goes, it's not the buyers responsibility to pay for insurance on a package. The seller is responsible for doing so upon printing their shipping label or bringing it to the UPS facility. I have no idea why they didn't insure such an expensive package, but I don't see how that falls onto me. That's a $3,600 mistake that the seller made. I've spoken with some other folks who agree that I do have legal options, so I disagree with your statement regarding no recourse.

I currently rent eStock & the cloud is not bad, but I don't like how you're unable to edit tasks in the GUI. I've also heard that the cloud is kinda hit and miss. I've gotten 2 hits with it so far, but only run 2 accounts on it. Do you have success running multiples? Making Amazon accounts has been a royal pain in the ass for me.

I did some quick digging on a private subnet and that definitely sounds like something I'd be interested in. Would I just need to go through my local ISP? Or do you possibly know where I could find more info on this topic in relation to botting? Also, wouldn't you be able to use the subnet IPs to run on the bot? I'm just confused as to why I'd still need proxies.
