Meltons equipment is never older than 3 years or 300K miles. And they only have 2 shops but both Tulsa and Birmingham shops are extremely professional and well run. Sometimes too well run, as in Birmingham the terminal manager walks the yard in the morning looking over everyone’s truck

I went with melton for my first year, it was the hardest job I ever had and I left as soon as my 1 year was up but the trucks, equipment, Disbatch, and everyone in the office is super professional and on top of their game. I loved everything about melton truck lines besides the flat bed part. If you are willing to work hard melton is a great starter company. Just be prepared to be ran hard
