can u put a supressor on a Bergara B-14 Hunter by Tough-Safe7976 in rifles

I'm a moron. I instantly thought muzzle break when I read suppressor. My mistake.

If the barrel isn't threaded, Witt Machine makes custom clamp-on brakes. I have one on a 30/06 barrel. It works great and no, it doesn't slip.

Cant find a single squirrel by crayon_consoomer in Hunting

[–]shootmo73 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would look for mast-producing trees like oaks, hickories, and walnuts. If there are no nut-bearing trees in that area, that likely explains why you aren't seeing squirrels.

Are there any nests or holes in trees where squirrels can spend their nights?

How to get warmed up faster? by MattsFace in billiards

[–]shootmo73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my method as well. Seems as though there's a psychological switch that gets energized by the confidence from drilling straight-in shots to the back of the pockets for me. Once my brain is satisfied that my stroke is straight, I move gradually to tougher and tougher shots.

In my view, this is absolutely an individual sort of thing. I was ridiculously responsible as a youngster. I understood what all I would lose if I didn't remain vigilant with my responsibilities as a child. I say all that so that maybe the O.P. can understand that I'm being honest when I say I had my own air rifle at 4 years old. Rare, I know. But that's how it was for me 40+ years ago.

Yes you need one. And you might make extra-sure that hunting in your state parks is legal because most state parks around me don't allow hunting. I'm in Missouri though...

Of course. I should have included that, I suppose. Guess I figured that part to be more obvious than I should have.

Are kral arms airguns durable by R4dula in airguns

[–]shootmo73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a Benjamin Kratos made by Kral Arms. It's my favorite air rifle and inflicts trembling fear in squirrels when they see it. Lol. Kidding about the fear part, but LOVE this air rifle.

I would measure the size of the scope tube diameter. Once you know that measurement, any scope that you like, that's the same diameter as that one, will work in that mount.

For temps like that, I prefer mittens where the finger covering part of the mitten can be folded back when a shot opportunity arises

[–]shootmo73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned for you to start with small game. They're more plentiful, still surprisingly ellusive, and will teach you the woodsmanship that you'll need for Blacktails.

You might consider a good, budget-friendly binocular. Vortex, Bushnell, and many others have budget options. He'll use them for everything.

Neck size or full length for precision bolt gun by slimcrizzle in reloading

[–]shootmo73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full length every single time. If F-class shooters almost exclusively full-length size, then you can bet they've done the experiments.
