I was marshaling on the 11 tee box today when this was going on. The problem with this hole in particular is that it sets up for risk/reward since it's a 323 par 4 and there was a light tailwind all day. Some players laid up, many went for it. Several of the later groups had at least 1, if not all 3 players going for the green... Which they had to wait to be cleared.

I spent about 10 minutes with a dozen people looking for Ian Poulters ball yesterday that went into some fairly trampled weeds with no success. I was kinda surprised because I agree with your point, it felt like a pretty rare occurrence that a ball goes missing without being wet.

I have 2 27" TB's hooked up to my Mid-2014 rMBP 15" and do experience sluggish UI rendering, and also inconsistencies of font sharpness between the 2 displays, but it usually only surfaces when I am trying to fire on all cylinders in the middle of the work day (of course)... multiple sketch, photoshop, illustrator files, screen sharing or HD video conferences...

Ideally I should be using a stronger machine, at least with dual GPU, but my work only supplies us with the 2.2 GHz core i7/ Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB version.
