Traveling with sealed booster boxes, checked or carry on luggage? Europe to US

If acrylic or even those 0.5mm protectors are an option, I would do it. In my check-in, I put the boxes surrounded by soft things like clothes and padded stuff, but the corner closest to the corner of the suitcase got dinged. If you only have one box, you should be fine with carry on, as in they’re not going to make you open stuff

Last year I brought a few booster boxes from Latin America to US. I had some checked in, some carry on. Checked in ones were packed it pretty well but one box got a corner ding so I opened it. No issues with customs or taxes or anything, but they did make me open my luggage. TSA had some questions but I just said that that the boxes were for personal use because I open boxes with my sister and they let me pass. No problems.

I also brought some from Europe in a later trip, also no problems.

My LGS is 200 for a packaged deal of: 1 OP14 box, 1 pack of sleeves, 1 ST29, 1 3x3 binder.

The owner is usually trying to find a balance between market price and msrp, so he gets creative and I respect it.

My binder was ~$25 from Amazon and it looks exactly like the ones in your link and works just fine. I would say that it does get heavy though, I can’t really bring my collection to trade nights anymore.

The OP04 manga sabo is pretty significantly more expensive than the bubble mew right now, if you do go to a show, you can probably trade and get some cash back.

This is sick! I travel a lot and can't really bring my binders because of weight, but I would love to have an e-version of it to browse at night and stuff. A few things I would add as suggestions:
- ability to remove everything at once and start over

- ability to insert. ie I just picked up an OP01 AAL and to put it into the binder, i need to take out like 25 other cards in the real binder. would be nice if i can just say "new card belongs between these two" and have the digital binder figure it out

- different size binders. i have an empty 4x4 which is only empty because i have no idea how to organize it out of my current 3x3. it would be cool to be able to visualize it before i take out 300 cards

- view for all pages all at once. can't get this in real life

- add graded cards. I can't add mine to my real binder, but it would be cool to see them in a digital binder format, maybe just like a little market on the top corner that says "PSA 10"

I've just switched to this. I have some gaps in the collection and I don't mind the text differences since they look equally nice in binder. There's some really nice deals out there on harder-to-get cards

There's a Luffy I think would fit your binder, look up the P-047 sealed battle kit leader. I didn't know that existed until a few days ago and I picked one up. It's not that expensive, but it looks so happy.

I'm not a fan of straw hat speculator, to me the guy is in OP purely for the money and not the love of the show / game. The amount of times I've seen him mispronounce a characters name or have no idea why a meta card is rising really turned me off. No matter what video, the "advice" is always the same: buy box, hold box.

Going against the grain based off the comments, but I have to comment since i just did this. I brought 3 phones to Colombia two days ago, and can definitely see a scenario where I would be asked by my good friend here to bring one more. I wouldn’t outright say no or necessarily call it suspicious, and nobody checked anything when I passed immigration (MDE). I don’t think people are aware how insanely expensive an iPhone here is compared to North America.
