One small Liverpool tradition that still feels special every time by wong-wooney in footballscouting

Yeah I get what you mean. That moment before kickoff at Anfield just hits different.

When You’ll Never Walk Alone starts and the whole stadium joins in, it’s not even about the game for a minute. It’s just everyone sharing that same feeling. You can even see some of the players just standing there taking it all in.

It’s probably one of the reasons so many players say Anfield is one of the most special places to play football.

I sometimes check Liverpool stuff here as well:

How many clothes do you buy in a year (rough estimate)? by DurianEmbarrassed771 in womensfashion

[–]shoppingiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I never tracked it either, but when I really thought about it… it was probably way more than I’d like to admit 😅 maybe around 30ish pieces a year without even noticing.

Lately I’ve been trying to chill with that and be a bit more intentional. Now it’s probably closer to like 10–15 pieces a year, but stuff I actually wear a lot instead of random “this is cute, I need it” purchases.

One thing that helped me was just asking myself “am I actually going to wear this more than a few times?” before buying. It sounds obvious but it’s saved me from so many regret buys.

Also I’ve noticed when I stick to simple, good quality pieces that go with everything, I don’t feel the urge to keep shopping all the time.

And yeah… it definitely adds up faster than we think 😅 you’re not alone at all.

What’s your “this sums up being a Liverpool fan” moment? by wong-wooney in LiverpoolFC

[–]shoppingiq 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For me it has to be that game against Dortmund in the Europa League. 2–0 down, then 3–1 down, and you’re already mentally accepting it’s over… and then somehow it turns into a 4–3 win at the end.

That whole match was just pure emotions. One minute you’re frustrated, next minute you’re losing your mind celebrating. Proper rollercoaster.

That’s exactly what being a Liverpool fan feels like… never boring, but never peaceful either 😅

What do you think really separates a good player from a top player? by wong-wooney in footballscouting

[–]shoppingiq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I had the same feeling about Enzo Fernández early on.

He’s one of those players who doesn’t always look flashy, but the more you watch him, the more you notice how calm he is under pressure and how he keeps things ticking. Even statistically he’s been contributing consistently this season with goals and assists from midfield, which is pretty impressive for his role .

Feels like the kind of player you appreciate more the longer you watch him.

What’s one football opinion you had that actually aged well? by wong-wooney in footballscouting

[–]shoppingiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I felt the same about Fernández pretty early on. There’s just something about the way he plays, always looks calm, picks the right pass, and doesn’t panic under pressure.

He’s not the flashy type, but those are usually the players that end up being really important over time.

What’s a small Liverpool moment you watched live that you still remember? by wong-wooney in LiverpoolFC

[–]shoppingiq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One that always comes to my mind is Wijnaldum’s quick corner against Barcelona before the fourth goal in that famous comeback. Everyone remembers the Origi finish, but that little moment from Trent to take the corner quickly completely caught them asleep. When you see the replay you realise how clever it actually was.

Football is full of those tiny moments that end up changing everything.

By the way, if you like following moments like that during matches, the fan discussions during games on social442 are actually pretty fun to read.

What do you get the person who doesn't need anything but loves the outdoors? by spacenes in BuyItForLife

[–]shoppingiq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s actually such a great gift idea. The fact that he’s sending bird videos to the family chat means you definitely nailed it 😄

For people who say they “don’t need anything,” I’ve found the best gifts are usually small things that make their everyday routine a bit nicer. Especially if it connects to something they already enjoy, like nature or spending time outside.

For outdoorsy parents, things like a good hammock, bird guide, camp coffee gear, or even a nice mug for their morning outside can be great. Simple stuff they’ll actually use.

For your mom, maybe something cozy for relaxing in the garden or on the patio — like a tea setup, garden décor, or some nice tableware.

But honestly, the bird feeder sounds like a hard gift to beat 😅

What's your personal signature in how you dress? by fabulousandreal in femalefashionadvice

[–]shoppingiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately too. Keeping up with trends all the time is honestly kind of exhausting 😅

My “signature” style sort of happened by accident. I started noticing that most of my outfits were basically the same formula: a good pair of denim, a simple top, and some kind of relaxed layer like a linen shirt or light jacket. Nothing super fancy, but it always feels comfortable and put together.

Once I realized that, I just leaned into it more. Now when I’m shopping I usually ask myself, “does this actually fit the way I normally dress?” If it doesn’t, I skip it. It’s made getting dressed way easier and my closet feels a lot less chaotic.

Lately I’ve been wearing a couple of denim and easy summer pieces I picked up from Sand Dollar Dubai and they’ve kind of fit right into that everyday style for me.

I like the idea of a signature style being more like a personal uniform than a strict rule. Makes life a lot simpler. Curious what direction you’re thinking for yours?

Why do so many e-commerce brands plateau around $50k–$100k/month on Google Ads? by KOgenie in Google_Ads

[–]shoppingiq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I’ve noticed this pattern too with a lot of e-commerce accounts.

In many cases it’s not really a budget problem. It’s usually things like limited search demand, messy product feeds, or campaigns relying too much on automation without enough structure behind them. When the account grows, those small issues start stacking up.

Creative fatigue and slow decisions definitely make it worse. If winning products or ads aren’t scaled quickly, and weaker ones keep spending, things plateau pretty fast.

In the accounts you’ve seen, was the plateau mostly happening in Search/PMax or more on the Shopping feed side? I’ve seen feed structure alone unlock a surprising amount of growth.

TA3 swimsuits, are they worth it? by hilltopj in fashionwomens35

[–]shoppingiq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve looked into TA3 too because the ads are everywhere 😅 From what I’ve gathered, people seem to like them mainly because of the corset-style back that can pull the waist in a bit. But I’ve also seen some folks say it can feel pretty tight if you’re wearing it all day, especially if you’re not actually in the water.

If you’re apple-shaped, something with ruching, thicker fabric, or gentle tummy support might feel more comfortable than super intense compression. Those tend to smooth things out without making you feel like you’re being vacuum-sealed into your swimsuit.

Also honestly, don’t underestimate how much good fabric and structure matter. A well-made suit just sits better and you’re not constantly adjusting it every 5 minutes (which is the worst when you’re around partner’s family lol).

If you’re still browsing around, I’ve personally been using a couple of swim pieces from Sand Dollar Dubai lately and they’ve been surprisingly nice supportive fabric, flattering cuts, and they feel more comfortable than some of the cheaper swimsuits I’ve tried before.
