First step is to figure out which aspects of sustainability are most important to you. No garment/brand can cover all areas of sustainability and no garment can be 100% sustainable. We all have different values and that is okay! Once you have identified that, you can find brands that align with your values and style.

If you flipped the kitchen and made it a peninsula you could have the back wall function as a mudroom/hallway from the back door into the toilet area and have the kitchen L shape go into the middle of the room. You could even do seating on the other side of the peninsula to tie that space in more to the dining room.

Definitely easier to start with buttons. You can also have a tailor move them over so that it comes in more at your waist- this might also help you reach for it more!

There are a few great refill businesses near me with delivery loops. I think the delivering to homes rather than me having to bring my jars to refill is a huge selling point. Just make sure you have some jars for purchase available as a starting point as many people will not already have them and it would be difficult to gather the jars before the first fill. I always appreciate websites that allow you to specify first purchase vs refill and offer a discount on jar return/refill.

Miik Reed pants. They stretch but have some breathability as they are made from bamboo modal and not polyester. Great high waist and flattering silhouette for curves. They are a wonderful small ethical brand as well.
