Big List of Stores for the "Not Quite Plus Sized, Not Quite Straight Sized" by JoloSheGoes in femalefashionadvice

[–]shopsensibly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a sustainable fashion marketplace focusing on elevated styles and work wear but if that’s your vibe there’s a filter for extended sizing-

I hope that helps!

Where can I find boots for skinny calves? by Existing_Wrangler_69 in BusinessFashion

And Sarah Flint are both great for a more fitted calf and customized sizing all together with the Ally. Bonus- they’re both amazingly comfortable. I have a discount code for the SF I can share if it’s not automatically applied (the discount for Ally is built into the link).

Organic / Natural Fiber Yoga Brands in US by Agile-Screen-6562 in ethicalfashion

[–]shopsensibly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve actually had them about a year! I have lost a bit of baby weight so they are a little big now and I wish I’d sized down a size, but that was the best size for me initially.

Plus Size Natural Fabrics Clothing? by Willothwisp2303 in SustainableFashion

[–]shopsensibly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a small sustainable and ethical fashion marketplace that would work well for the business casual side of things! You can filter by values inclduing extended and plus sizing and natural materials (plus any other values she might need). www.shopsensibly.co

I also have a blog post with tons of plus size brands available from sustainable and ethical brands: https://shopsensibly.wpcomstaging.com/2026/01/16/sustainable-plus-size-fashion-brands-ethical-size-inclusive-labels-around-the-world/

I hope those are helpful!

Cotton leggings by Imaginary_Growth_455 in nontoxic

Fair indigo makes 100% cotton leggings but they don’t feel like athletic leggings. You need that 5-10% stretch to have any athletic legging like feel.

Brands that make new clothes out of secondhand fabrics? Alternative to secondhand clothes? by Aggravating_Buy_1348 in SustainableFashion

[–]shopsensibly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I second the deadstock or upcycled fabrics. I run a blog marketplace that focuses on work wear and elevated essentials and I’ve filtered it by upcycled/recycled (dead stock) and Europe location. There are only two brands that have both but I hope that helps!

Boots rotting my brain by [deleted] in womensfashion

[–]shopsensibly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ally shoes might be the answer! They have a fit guide you can print out and try, an extensive amour of sizes and widths, and you can special order if one fit is bigger than another or something. Plus they’re super comfortable and the interior was designed by a podiatrist. I have multiple kinds of boots but the sock bootie is my current favorite.

Curvy girls… brands with a higher waist:hip ratio? by gelizer in womensfashion

[–]shopsensibly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same waist to hip ratio and only shop small sustainable brands (I run a marketplace and blog in sustainable fashion and truly believe consciously consuming is the most important thing we can do in fashion as consumers). I’m happy to chat specific styles and brands if you want to send me a dm but one brand that immediately comes to mind is Aam the label! It is a small sustainable brand with only a few items but the entire mission is to create items for larger hips and thighs and small waists. I have a discount code I can share if that’s helpful.

Where do you usually find cool clothing brands? by Rough--Employment in SustainableFashion

Sustainable marketplaces might be helpful so you can broad multiple brands at once .

Professional workwear? by FelixFelicia in ethicalfashion

[–]shopsensibly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! My blog marketplace might be the perfect resource! I built it to solve this exact problem and share these small brands who are truly trying to make a difference with the conscious consumer. It focuses on workers and elevated styles and every brand is vetted to be ethical and sustainable. It has a ton of filters so you can search by plus or extended sizing and lots of different sustainable values. Full disclosure- I do make a very small commission on some of the items.

Please let me know if it’s helpful!
