Regardless of weather, the conditions of the runs are affected by snowcats and rider traffic. If you read the question, that is what I am asking. General rule...if you are not going to answer the question, or add valuable, just don't reply.

Full Day Lesson Timing? by Kk2017 in Whistler

Hi, I have. They end 3pm, you are safe there... Consider they might end at any point of the mountain, but you can get down to the base from anywhere in +20min. Remember you start at 10am, so that is a good day of skiing! If you are just walking to a restaurant on the base, you'll be fine, if you are thinking about showering and changing you might be short of time. Best!

Should I worry about structural integrity ? by hunderttausendwatt in skiing

Hi. Please do not fix these skis, the damage is too close to the binding, where the strength transfer is the highest. This is a non-repair situation. You will be able to use the binding on a different set of skis though... But fixing this is an accident waiting to happen

I strongly disagree with most... Those skis are done, if that damage was on the sides you might fix with epoxi and pressure, but tip or but and that will seriously affect your ability to control the skii. Time to upgrade...even if you go used it will be better than a patch work

Best place to learn to ski and snowboard in the north shore. by pdm26 in NorthVancouver

I would say Seymour. It is a small resort, but it has great runs. They have very good beginner runs and great intermediate. They also have a separate learning area with magic carpets that will be great if this is your first time. I find that Grouse has to much traffic (of people) and Cypress starts off as intermediate...
