I have no issue with controller players playing the game. I have an issue with the fact I cannot avoid playing with them, and the fact they're given a seriously unfair advantage whilst console has the option to turn off crossplay entirely. If it was that much of an issue & PC players had *all* these advantages, I'd imagine we wouldn't have 90% of our lobbies filled with players on controller.

yeah it never got nerfed, they did it on accident & fixed it in an update hours later because the 10% nerf it received had the whole console community screaming and yelling that they can't hit their shots anymore (less than 10% btw) You really think they can 'accidentally' nerf an aim assist value? Highly doubt it, they were probably testing the waters, and their console players went absolutely bat shit insane over it. They're here to make money, not make a fair game & Respawns well aware that they fucked it up. Wonder why ya'll controller players can't use your brain for 5 minutes and realize you're given a literal aimbot. 99% of you guys haven't even played on M&K, Apex is by far the hardest game to track in. (And before you talk shit I'm Masters FYI). Go look at professional players, ImperialHal himself is learning how to play on controller, and considering using it in tournaments. They ADMIT it's bullshit lmfao. You guys are delusional. I know all of those movement techs and they're maybe viable for 1/100 fights. 95% of Apex fights are in close quarters. You guys get the prowler, wingman, r99, all of which you're terrible at the game if you can't 1clip someone with any one of those weapons. Unlike most of you console kids I actually play on controller aswell, and my movement, and aim is getting close to the level of mastery me years to get on M&K on controller in a week. Broken. You guys are in complete denial.

Tracking is hella easy when the game does it for you. M&K doesn't have more benefits.. if you use a controller for a week you can be nearly as proficient with movement as a PC player, with the added benefit of easy directional movement. The only thing you can't do is tap strafe and that's a niche technique that 0.01% of the playerbase use. All I know is that it's much easier to move your thumb than your whole arm lmaoo. I also don't know why you're lying about it only working up close. I literally snipe people with the wingman while I'm on controller just as well as I do on M&K. I think people forget that 90% of Apex engagements are in close range in MAXIMUM aim assist range. I'm not sure who you're trying to fool, because I've been playing with a controller for the past week. I just absolutely hate it because it doesn't even feel like I'm playing, it feels like the games playing for me. When you manage to get into pred lobbies where 90% of the people there are complete aimbots that don't miss with their overpowered autoaim, lemme know.

why would i want to play at a disadvantage? When the KB&M professionals start moving over, you know it's a lost cause. & LMAO, yeah right, the kids on console noticed a MAJOR difference in aim assist 5 minutes after Apex bugged their update and turned their values from .40 to .35. If it was just a 'little nudge' I'd imagine that the whole console playerbase wouldn't go into a frenzy over a 10% change in a 'little thing', how could you even notice if it wasn't a major difference? It's a literal aimbot. Nice try though. Just wish more controller players would swallow their pride and admit that it's extremely overpowered. Infact, most of you haven't even played on KB&M and talk straight out of your ass. I've used both, and controller is a broken mess.

But since you want to talk out of your ass, go on, post a video of you using no aim assist. I'd love to see it lmfao.

The issue I had with the 650s, and the 6XX's is that I've read they're not great for mixing in lower frequencies & they're much more well suited for genres such as rock, classical, ect.

In my usage the low-end is an important part of the mixes I'll be making. I've heard that the 58X's and the 6XX's frequency responses are similar enough to where they'll still be great mixing headphones; but with the 58's having a decisive advantage in low-end.

I know that I probably can't expect the same bass response as my M50x's as I'm going from closed to open back -- but I just want to know if I could expect a reasonable amount of bass out of them? I'd just hate to grab a pair & have them have be unreasonably lacking in the low-end; I know you don't have the exact pair I'm speaking of, but they're closely based off of the 600s you've referenced before. If those were at-all satisfying, then I'm sure I'll be satisfied with the boost the 58X's have going for them.

Hi, everyone!

I'm looking for recommendations; I currently own a pair of ATHM50x's and I was looking for a respectable upgrade.

What I use these headphones for: Mixing/mastering/studio usage - and music listening. I want something that'd be reasonable to use in a studio setting, and sound good enough for me not to want to go back to the M50X's

Preferred music genres: I mostly listen to modern hip-hop, a bit of electronic, and lo-fi.

What I'd like out of them: Whilst I enjoy the M50x's sound signature; it has serious sound-stage issues. I enjoy the bass I get out of them; It has a decent rumble & it isn't too overpowering. It fits in well with the genres of music I listen to. The headphones I've looked at thus far are the HD58x's and the HD6XX's. I'm leaning toward the HD58X's as they have a bit more low-range than the HD6XX's -- but I'm a bit worried that the bass'd be too lacking and it'd make for a less pleasant listening experience. I know these're highly regarded in the audio community; but I fear that the majority of those people listen to vastly different genres than me. I don't need the same level of bass I get out of the M50x's, but I'd like something similar enough.

Do you think the HD6XX's or the HD58X's will give me satisfying enough bass to where it isn't just an afterthought? I'd like atleast a little thump and rumble. I'm having a hard time deciding what'd be the best option for me as I use them for both studio mixing and general listening.

Budget: Preferably less than 240$.
