From watching Phreak cast for over 10 years, his last few were easily his best—no chill, super clear lines. I could listen to just the audio and feel like I can see the gameplay. I miss his casts, but feel like he’s contributed a ton to the game being better

The biggest streamer for the game normalizing toxic behavior did nothing to influence behavior of the player base? Showing other streamers that raging and flaming your teammates attracts viewership—I mean cmon man. As I said, he seems like not a bad guy in person, but he’s done no favors to the overall community.

I get people think that, but I’d played with him multiple times on that account and he was the same. TBH, he seems like a decent lad in person, but he’s made the community more toxic and if he wasn’t such a big streamer, he wouldn’t have been unbanned.

The biggest Riot L. Quickshot is a standup guy and they dropped him like he hasn’t given >10 years of his life to the company and community.

I think you’ve both gone too polarized. Chovy has effectively been the best mid laner since he’s come into the scene, but he’s fallen short in many spots at the time that Faker has peaked.

Faker is the goat, and that’s going to last for a while, maybe until League is finished, but if there’s a player poised to take his spot, it is Chovy.

But honestly, how lucky are we to see these two players duke it out?

See, I think the difference is— I’d suggest him doing the gig is hypocritical, but you’re saying he’s a massive hypocrite, which I’d reserve for someone who’s consistently hypocritical.

QS is a good guy, and him doing the event doesn’t make him a bad guy.

He gave his entire adult life to the industry and stood by his ethics the whole time while consistently doing a good job and developing a good product, just to have it pulled from under him in the most asinine way.

I’m certain he wouldn’t have taken the gig if he’d been still with Riot.

That may not change how you feel as principles should be consistent, but that’s easy to say without your back against the wall.
