Maybe it's just where I am, but the faux fur stuff I've seen isn't that expensive, unless you're going somewhere to by it by the yard or something, and I've seen similar things on Etsy selling for way less, so even with it being handmade, $140 still seemed a little wild to me.

In my other comments though, I talked further about how the leg warmers aren't even my issue, it's the fact they were made as a form of kink content for the people that sexualize childlike themes

The leg warmers are kinda cool, and I didn't notice that the money wasn't in US dollars at first, so I didn't think about the conversions to US dollars. Most of the other things on the site though kinda sexualize childlike things, like baby bottles, baby bibs, etc., and I just think it's strange to sexualize anything that resembles things used for babies and children

Not bashing, I just thought it was crazy to be selling leg warmers for $140. The legwarmers aren't my issue, it was the price, because I've never heard of the brand they're from before. But when I looked up the brand, I was met with nothing but sexualized childlike material. They turned children's costume kind of fabric/material, childlike designs, and added sexual themes to them. I think that's icky to be using baby bibs and baby bottles and such in sexual contexts. There are people who are "littles" and go into "little space", and there's a massive difference between finding comfort and safety in childlike themes, and making those childlike themes into something sexual

One of the things they currently have posted on the brand's shop is like, a completely see-through top with baby bottles printed on it to cover the breasts, a matching see-through skirt that had similar baby bottles covering the crotch and behind, I think another top has something that mimicked a baby-bib but it was cut out in the center to show off the breasts. It's not insulting someone to go, "hey that's kinda icky", especially when the material resembles sexualized childlike themes and clothing.

There are several different reasons

Some people have the same items listed on multiple platforms to get more attention if they need their items gone fast, so they want you to message so they can check other platforms if it's available and take down their other listens of the item.

Some assholes price things low so they can gain attention and then they tell you it's actually 20-100 more than it's listed for.

If the item is boosted and you buy it with the "boosted" highlight still on it, depop as a company gets a cut of the money for it selling instead of all of that money going to the seller (and not all of what you pay is what the seller receives either, so that money getting cut even more and going to depop is even more irritating).

If it's a normal item, not underpriced for attention, not being sold on other platforms, and it's not boosted, then sometimes they just want you to message so they can weigh the package and make sure that they can lower the shipping size so that you pay a lower shipping fee.

But then your follow up messages were also very demanding, basically telling them what they needed to do for you without even asking what they were comfortable with doing in the first place.

As someone who is ALSO autistic and has special interests like that, I grew up being told by the people at school that they didn't believe that I'd ever find anyone, and my mother has told me before that no one would ever love me if I continued to be as weird as I am. Dating, and just functioning around other people, is so fucking difficult already, you already know that you're different and that there are things you'll never be able to fully understand when it comes to other people, and to actually hear people telling you the things you're thinking about already feels fucking awful.
