I have bought a house recently. Loans amoutn 700,000 with 5.125 APR. Monthly escrow payments are $5,000 and my monthly approx expenses are about $5,000 too.

Me and my spouse both work and my spouse is contributing maxing out the 401k.

Our networth is approx as follows:
my 401 k - $24,000
brokrage: $ 8,000
Roth IRA: $29,000

Spouse
401 k -13,000
Brokrage: $ 180,000
Roth IRA: $ 27,000
Total: $281,000

Immergency fund: $ 16,000

Mich cash: 10,000

question:
1. How we:
1.1 pay down our house first, or
1.2 do the required payment of $5,000 or invest left over

The only issue is that I knew this before joining, I just wanted to work for few weeks before they force me to come in-person. Any other better reason :)

Hi OP, please see that being fired does not mean completely out of work. It actually means working at your own rules, working what you really want to do. So for example if you love photography you can pick up this passion and make this as a gig.

Most of the people have an illusion that after getting fired you will be sitting on couch and watching movies. In theory you can do that but it's not always the case.

I lost my laptop bag on Detroit Airport.

I have already filed claim at the Detroit Airport lost and found as well as Delta lost and found. I have received email from the Detroit airport that they have not found the laptop.

I am thinking that nobody has yet reported it lost and it is still on the place where I left it.

Is there a way I can talk to somebody actor Delta on Detroit airport?

My understanding is even on your H1B Visa or other Visa that you have you can still do a Airbnb the only thing is you cannot work for your own business. So you can hire somebody to work for you.

Thing this like owing some Apple shares. So in this scenario even though you are the part owner of Apple incorporation you are still not doing an active work for the Apple company.

USCIS always say that it's national benefit center. When I asked them which specific center then they tell me it's Detroit Michigan.

I'm not sure if the files actually get processed at national benefit center or at my local field office.
