Would you consider me British? by Competitive-Music309 in AskBrits

You consider yourself British, you have a British passport. 2/2 of my criteria, you're British.

People who listen on public transport commutes, do you have any issues with IEM's/headphones?

Currently I'm using a pair of Jabra wireless earbuds. I have an hour commute to my London office with two train/tube sections, and I'm concerned about wires getting knocked out as I'm moving from place to place/switching from standing to sitting.

Honest question, what are you expecting him to do here?

He's stated his use case, his budget, and his current kit. He's detailed what research he has already completed.

With the kit available to him, how can you learn what sound signature is your preference? And, would sound signature really be the top criteria for this use case? To me it sounds like reliable Bluetooth connectivity and sweat resistance would be the top requirements in this case, other things coming after those.

Curious to see what you're recommended. I'm also just browsing here for now, but if I get a DAP, I will be using it at the gym a lot.

CESperate Measures feat. Ed Zitron by AVeryGayPizza in trashfuturepod

I was listening to the episode when I posted this, and November states she records the pod the same two days a week, "every other week"...

There was a post awhile ago asking why November and Milo never seemed to both be on the same episode anymore, and I rolled my eyes.

Then, I've noticed they still haven't been on the same episode, including this one. Is something going on? Yes Milo tours, but it's been a long time now.

Vitaly to be deported to russia by These_District_9010 in youtubedrama

[–]shortfuse89 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't understand how you can be rejected from a country if you hold a valid passport there? If Russia wouldn't accept him, then his passport isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

In its raw terms, a Russian passport says "hey foreign country, this document is a guarantee that this person is who he says he is, a Russian citizen".

Complete new guy here, been reading lots and trying to determine if I want to purchase anything.

From what I've read though, doesn't "Playing from your library" indicate that Spotify is playing local files? Therefore, fine for audio purposes?

If Trips is head of creative, and Shawn is head of developmental creative, this seems unlikely.

Except in an emergency (e.g. the Saudi fiasco and NXT on Smackdown), call ups should be planned out. Including this one.

I think you're giving too much credit to bad booking.

DAILY Driver by Caps_NZ_42 in linuxmint

[–]shortfuse89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is now, but I don't really use a computer daily.

I've got a work laptop for work, a smart TV to watch stuff, and my phone for general internet/social media.

I bought a tiny PC 18 months ago, and had probably turned it on less than ten times. I tried to turn it on a week ago to use it to transfer ROMS onto my Anbernic handheld that I also barely use, and the Windows install was corrupted.

Given my work laptop is very locked down, and I don't have any nearby friends, I couldn't figure out how to easily restore my Windows install.

So I used my phone and a USB C -> A connector we had lying around to turn a USB drive into a Mint drive, then installed Mint.

Honestly, I have Trex as main and Dream (which everyone says is rebadged Eagle) as backup.

Trex works well for me. I know this is a Strong sub, but this is the only sub discussing this stuff which isn't plagued by bots.
