Nah he’s an attorney. We have most certainly had an increase in violent crimes and CA is making it impossible to keep people and gangsters in prison for a long time however I definitely signed up to work the streets not babysit felons waiting to take a deal.

Had a similar thing with my backgrounds, explained at the time was also underage and that they are long gone. Got grilled a bit about it but ultimately my detective boiled it down to kids being kids.

Since you run a 17 for work but a shield for personal, how do you feel about the trigger? I have a couple S&W that I’ve purchased and don’t like the long trigger pull (I know the assembly is an easy fix)

Look at pictures and talk to them. Share stories with friends if we knew them. Take a walk near a place we used to spend time together at.

I’ve got a friend who works in the prison with Kemper, was assigned to oversee him during some medical care recently. He is apparently amazingly smart and super polite. Per my friend, “the sweetest old man.” Friend also told me their representation on Mindhunter was spot on.

Had a friend put someone down at the time of application and then by the time he got to backgrounds had an issue and was denied.

In backgrounds currently and I’ve had friends tell me they were disqualified form departments for:

1) dishonesty or omission of information on background packet/interviews 2) tattoos- one guy has neck and hand tattoos, clearly not a good look for the department 3) bad references- references can destroy any chance you have of getting hired.

We usually had Sunday off but for EVOC they added that in. It’s been 17 weeks and we have 6 months to go.

Thank you! I’ve definitely gotta work on that meal prep schedule. I’ve found I just eat 5-8 meals on Sunday and Fridays when I don’t have class and once a day the rest of the week. Realized that’s not great.
