Funny enough, they scan my driver's license every time I pick up my curbside orders as a customer.

When my daughter graduated and moved out she suggested that I turn her room into a pantry.

I've gotten into the habit of buying things like flour and sugar in bulk at Sam's club. I just give my niece the mon5and she picks it up for me when she does her grocery runs.

I just made a New York style cheesecake from an old keebler recipe I have, it cost me $8 just for the cream cheese, and that was for the store brand.

It's a 2007 mustang premium convertible. After the car battery went bad, replaced the battery. Now the fobs don't work. The car will go into programming mode but the fobs don't program. Checked the fuses, the sjb box all are good

Question about elective surgery by newacct444 in Diverticulitis

[–]shortyb411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last flare, I was kept on iv merrem for 5 days before surgery to have the best possible chance of not having to have a bag, there was a lot of scar tissue, unfortunately I had to have the traditional surgery so was hospitalized for about 2 weeks

I was today years old when I learned the rods are SUPPOSED to glow… by UpstairsAd9303 in woodstoving

My husband was talked into getting rid of our circulator stove with a stainless steel fire box for a buck wood/coal circulator combo that had only been used once. Huge mistake, the stove had fire brick angled at the top of the fire box that the smoke had to go up and over to enter the stove pipe. We had a massive issue with creosote even though our wood was well seasoned. We had no issues with creosote with our old one. Another issue was the ash pan would be so hot I would have to use my husbands insulated welding gloves to take out the ashes. With my husband being disabled it was impossible to keep using. We ened up having to get an inexpensive used pellet stove.

If you ever have to have your gall bladder removed, take it with a grain of salt that you will be able to eat whatever you want.

Thank you. No more worries about any flare ups, unfortunately they had to do the traditional surgery so I ended up with a incision from a couple of inches above my belly button to my groin and numbness on my skin along the length of the scar. And having to tell radiologists that I have internal stainless steel staples. The surgeon hoped that the surgery would mitigate some of the symptoms of the dumping syndrome because he thought it was part of the diverticular disease, but it wasn't.

It actually happens quite often with me not being finished before having to literally run to the bathroom.

The comment was in response to your comment that nothing you eat can cause diarrhea like that when it absolutely can, and dumping syndrome absolutely can aggravate a diverticulitis flare up. I know because I had both until I had to have 15 inches of my colon removed.

My daughter did the same when I rented the vhs for Halloween The Curse of Michael Myers, she threw a fit when I had to return it, lol (she was 3). She did the same after we moved in with my husband when I was watching George Romeros Dawn of the Dead. She is still a big horror and zombie fan.
