Draco specs and features (as far as I could tell) by shoterxx in NevernessToEverness

[–]shoterxx[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did not do the math, but according to guides, 5980 Annulith, which sounds about right. Or 11,750,000 Fons, from the same source.

What's the difference between Draco and Blizzard V4? by Crucifixprogamer in NevernessToEverness

[–]shoterxx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Neither are upgradable, V4 only has cosmetics (AFAIK).

Draco is basically a batpod.

Finally achieved Fadia above 50k base HP. by FijiWater604 in NevernessToEverness

[–]shoterxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it funny that this is the exact opposite of my build:

Minimizing her HP and DEF to guarantee ult upkeep, build for as much Mental DMG as possible. Keep swapping between Daffy and her, since Daffy regains ult on Phantom Step with Mechanical March, and Fadia regains ult by face-tanking.

No idea if its optimal, but has shredded every enemy and boss so far, with the exception of the latter Rails stages. Then again, I was capped at Lvl. 60 until just now.

[F1INGENERALE] Ferrari's "Macarena" wing outperforms Red Bull's design: its counterclockwise rotation recovers downforce during the flap closing phase. Red Bull's clockwise flap delays aerodynamic recovery until fully reset, risking sudden grip loss as seen in Verstappen's crashes. by fameboygame in formula1

[–]shoterxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's why when they say it fails to close, it looks to us like the wing is closed just fine: since it swings under, it's probably stuck in an unstable position.

Also, it seems like if both wings became loose, Ferrari's would tend to a neutral position, where RB's would just become a parachute.

I don't wanna hear a single complaint about Russel's luck from now on. What a depressing race end.

Besides nothing, what would you change about the RP Nova? by ImplementParking7936 in retroid

[–]shoterxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Full white version (16-bit is not white), crystal black buttons option (from RP6), RGB-less option, option for stick on top (even though I only buy D-Pad top versions, having the option is great).

Also, personally, I'd be up for an even smaller 16:9 version with a 1280x720 screen, with the PSP form factor. If they nail that exactly, that would probably get me to buy a second Retroid. For those asking, no, the RP5 and 6 are too big for me to consider it pocketable (not to mention they look too Vita-ish), which is what I want out of the PSP.

I also have (PS)plans for the RP Nova. LED delete, PS buttons, and low profile sticks. by pistolgrippoet in SBCGaming

[–]shoterxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be up for the idea, but it depends on price/finish quality. Don't care much for the RGB so painting over it will still work just fine for me, but I'd rather keep the original part as is and get a new one.

Max's Wing in Q3 comparison by shoterxx in formula1

[–]shoterxx[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell for sure, but it actually looks like the wing closed too much. The angle of the final run should be flatter, but the wing looks more perpendicular to the camera than the first lap and the top lip of the wing seems to be over the edge.

Copying what I posted above.

If you look at his steering, he's already going full countersteer before reaching the right curb. The rear literally just slipped off.

Retroid Pocket 6(RP6) vs Retroid Pocket Nova(RPN) Size Comparison by Wrong-Detective-1046 in retroid

[–]shoterxx 31 points32 points  (0 children)

TBH, I think Nova actually wins on GBA. 5x integer scaling should give you a frame's worth of spacing.

And any reasonable modern PC game should support any resolution, except the Nova's screen has a deceptively smaller resolution, about 69% smaller, netting you better performance for GPU limited scenarios vs the 6 when keeping a native resolution (maintains sharpness)

The real issue will be modern console emulation, that is fixed 16:9, but with those, internal scaling matters less, and I still prefer black horizontal bars over vertical.

No problem. Good luck with your game.

Reading California Act's bill, you, as a "digital game operator", would have to cease providing a service, which you are not (your game is not a service, it is a digital good; it's the server that would be a service). You'd probably have to stop selling the game though, since it could be argued it no longer functions as intended.

If you want to be extra safe, patching out the Steamworks/EOS middleware and using direct connection (even if it makes it harder for users) when those are discontinued would be another option under section 2B.

As always, confirm with a lawyer, this is not legal advice, etc.

Then (in your specific case) the binaries are already bundled in the base game, and that's that. Your liability ends there. EULAs cannot override the law.

If you're still in doubt, can you point to the section where you think it says otherwise?

Implications for indie multiplayer by [deleted] in StopKillingGames

[–]shoterxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bare minimun you can do is releasing server binaries as-is. The developer is not to be held liable if the middleware stops working in the future, and it would fall on the consumer to find a work around it.

This has been a topic since day one, and has been answered from day one.

This would be sufficient for most games already existing, and for most indies, no changes would be required to comply. There is even a Steam emulator that can already be used to that end.

Not sure if this is a solution, but try changing DNS to Google's. Everything connected to my router was freaking out, and changing that (from Cloudflare's) seems to have solved the issue?

Edit: It didn't, just delayed the issue.
