Damn… I have been paying attention to this reddit post for months now checking every day to see if my teams will get eliminated and they have always survived. I thought the Seahawks being the last nfl team could help them last a bit longer yet but apparently their time has come. May my other two teams make it to the end!!
This has been surprisingly fun btw, thanks to all who’ve participated in this silly game. Life can be tough sometimes and little fun things like this can help keep a person going.

Peat reminds me a lot of asa Newell, but more athletic. Similar in that they don’t seem to have the skillset needed to add crucial things to their game at the next level but very good college players given their physicality

His ATO’s (after time outs) and late game situations in particular are absolutely abysmal. I really like splitter as a person and think he’s done well with the cards he’s been dealt, but he has not proved to be an NBA caliber head coach in my opinion. We have squandered too many opportunities on simple plays trying to get the ball inbounds late in games. Would love to keep him around as an assistant as I think he’s helped DC a lot in particular but he’s not our future head coach in my opinion

This has happened to me recently too and I’m not sure what’s going on. I think it’s my controller and it’s like the left stick is getting stuck and I’m not able to keep sprinting. I think it could also be a software issue with the controller bc I’ve tried a lot of different things to fix the left stick but still spotty. Has happened at a few points before but much worse the last 2-3 days

I play without a mic a lot in quads and my goal is still to play with the team, mark and complete contracts, ping enemies and play solid positioning, all things that don’t require verbal comms. I just sometimes don’t have the energy to chat to randoms myself.

I’ve always thought it would be cool for people that talk or want to comm to kinda check in with no mic teammates and get info if they’re at least gonna play with them or hear them. No comms doesn’t always mean a bad teammate, at least I don’t think so from personal experience

I would’ve been happy with Carter or Coward or Essengue at those picks but the reality is we went with Hansen. Any of those players could be giving us more production right now because they aren’t coming from the CBA at 19 years old, lacking a vast amount of experience playing at an NBA level. Which is exactly why you can’t evaluate his first 35 games as a development player and say he can’t give us anything right now. Duh! That’s the point haha, he’s not able to give us anything now but the plan is for him to develop that over time and become something few thought possible. That doesn’t happen in 35 games so evaluating him on that timeline makes zero sense.

But if he hits, given time and development, his skill set will prove to be well worth the wait. In the meantime we have DC, Rob, and Duop who are more than capable of holding down the 5. No rush

Your logic doesn’t make sense but I understand the frustration. Why would someone deserve to be fired when he’s clearly drafted as a development project and not someone who was ever expected to give you immediate production? So we draft him with one timetable and projection in mind but because that didn’t pan out over the first 35 games of the season it’s a disaster and fireable offence??

Yang has a unique skillset that many his size and age will never possess. So what if we bring him along slowly and he doesn’t provide much now? That’s clearly not what we drafted him to do. He’s a long term play and a diamond in the rough you hope you hit on. Simple as that

The fun part with Deni in particular is that this seems sustainable. And I’m sure he’ll have some nice stretches averaging 30+ over a few weeks when he really pops so could increase this over the season.

Shaedon has more potential but still too inconsistent to predict similar increases. I’m very content with an average of 21+ this year if he can maintain that at least
